What about a smiling face?

We all know smile face is not widely seen. If you think these ladies are more charming with a smiling face, please let me know.
For example, we have the JSD heads 1.0 (no smile), we can try add new heads of 2.0 (smiling)?

First we welcome the first smiling lady, Yukiko (below photos are revised with smiling face for reference).

She looks very nice, however, I personally prefer a passive expression, that way I can impart my own feelings about the doll when I look at it. I do not want a doll with a fixed "dynamic" expression (for example, smiling, moaning, eyes permanently closed, wide open mouth that cannot close, etc) because then I'm stuck with that look forever. It's easier to use my imagination when the doll's face is like how most doll faces now are designed. Just my own preference of course.

I am torn about it. I love a hint of smile in a Beautyful Face but as mentioned before there Could be situations where a smile wouldnt fit the Situation. Also it Could Look weired when combined with Moving Jaws and ROS-features.
But it all depends of the Final Look and so i encourage you to Go on and Show what you can make…..

Not really a smile, more a smirk and while cute, I don't know I'd want to see it 24/7.

I'm a fan of smiling heads, especially when it's a slight smirk. Like the previous posters said, I don't want a full on smile, but I do like a slight smirk because I like taking photos of my doll. I have found that a sligh smirk allows for a lot of facial expressions for photos, depending on the angle. It's even better if they have movable jaws. The neutral expression is probably good for companion-only dolls, but for photography I prefer some level of expression.

A smile is wonderful. I do love passive expressions, but having a smile is great.
As most manufacturers offer two heads for the sale of a doll, how about one passive expression and one smile using the same face. In other words, an interchangeable face.

I love an inviting playful smile. It actually makes for a more "mutual" experience for me. Then it doesn't all have to come from me.

I enjoy the transformation of a seemingly expressionless doll into a smiling or languid figure by adjusting the angle of the shot, the position of the eyeballs, and adding makeup
I would love to have a smiling head but personally I feel it is a limited need

I think that's a good point. I like the slight smile in the photos, but it'd be good to see how the moveable jaw affects it.
