Adding friend function on profiles what does it do?

What does it mean/do when you ad a friend on someone's profile?

I was thinking to add some people whose posts really spoke to me.

As far as I know, it just builds a list of users that you can click on to fill the "To" field on a private message. That way, you don't have to search for them.

If someone cruises your profile , they can see who your friends with .

I wish that we could see member's foes list as well. I would love to see how many people I have pissed off.

Jyoti is the only one in my friends folder. Haven't had to use the foe function yet, but I've come close a couple times. :drinking:

No, you can't see other peoples friend or foe list.

Rock13 explained it, you can see your friends in a list in the UCP and can add them to privat messages by clicking on the name. In addition you can see if they are online.

I have one friend that was really a chance thing. I just now clicked on his name to see what happens and it shows his basic details and where he tends to frequent. Funnily enough he doesn't go where I tend to go! He's not been here much of late. It makes comms and contact a bit easier if you really want to chat. I just haven't found a reason to use it much.

I think the more you use it, the more you'll get out of it.
