Re: Questions, Questions, Questions
You have to move it around now and then. The doll is not gonna take bath by itself
It might result in back pain, accidents (falling) and in the end that you are not using the doll anymore.
I am a tall guy (1.95m) with normal fitness, but I had these issues with a doll of this weight. So with your size I would not recommend it.
It might be the doll you want, but you will regret it.
I am looking now more into smaller dolls, or else I have to give it up. I just can't handle the weight anymore.

Re: Questions, Questions, Questions
I can relate to this issue.
I also thinking in buying a male doll.
The weight issues (if we forget about the cost) regarding this dolls is what makes me really think over this again and again and again.
I do fear to spend the amount and then having such heavy item around that is just to much weight to handle and is just laying there ...
Any ideas or pointers to how to handle it ?

Rolling office chair, transport wheelchair or regular wheelchair
Lifting Straps
Or lift via the bear hug or bridal carry method. USE YOUR LEGS!
Take a look at the SM male doll who is only 24kg.
Make your own fabric doll (I can guide you through if you would like)
Get a flexible foam male mannequin and a silicone or TPE head.
These are only a few suggestions.

I would say Mason will be very difficult for you to handle, especially if you want to pose him in standing positions.heydollgirl wrote: ↑Fri Jun 23, 2023 10:01 am I have some concerns though. I am a pretty short girl at 147cm, Mason is 175cm. He is 38ish kg (84lbs), while I am 48kg(108lbs). Will I have a lot of trouble moving him? It’s not that I plan to move him a lot, but I intend to dress him up and pose and photograph like my other dolls.
I'm 176 cm and 70kg. My silicone male doll is 176 (my height) and 54kg. Moving him around takes some planning and I use a wheeled office chair for it mostly. I can manage him to/from the chair (it's a heavy lift, though) but I find it challenging to manage his weight if the doll is standing. Positioning him when he's seated, in bed or on the floor is quite easy, yet it's been bit of a learning curve too. Carrying / lifting him around is a no-go.
It's good for you to consider the weight carefully. It's no fun if moving the doll is too difficult and you risk an injury every time you do it. I myself get very sore muscles sometimes

Doll Sweet DS-170 - male body
Does anyone have any experience with this brand or model for a male doll ? the EU website is quite bare and doesn't provide photos from the head or other details
