great documentary, considering its age, from 2002, Realdoll Matt was just a young man like Steve Jobs full of dreams

As usual British documentaries are very well done, pace and editing, good taste...

the only thing I thinks its a pity, due to the prejudice at the time, was that doll owners were still depicted as kind of weird lonely and somewhat unadjusted socially.

Today a similar doc showing how many rich owners have dolls and still lead family lives with their spouses, relatives, friends would do a lot more justice

I've seen the first one before. It lead to me exploring more of that aspect of human sexuality. I ended up visiting an own whose business was sex dolls. He would rent them out at an hourly rate. It's a different side for sure, but I think it's fascinating.
I haven't yet seen the second one. Another aspect of human sexuality.

And I agree with the post by Luiskjr, but I think cultural norms are still somewhat static when it comes to sexuality. An example of such would be a male enjoying pegging. Not my taste per se, but an example.

I watched it again... the first guy from Michigan, Davecat, he is intelligent and sensible, his whole testimony is spot on about life with a doll
