Your creativity and expertise with doing modifications on your sweet guys is very inspiring! We hope Lawrence's ankle will heal soon (hopefully 48hours will be his magic number).

48 hours was the magic number, as it is also his age. He is glad to have all 22 pins removed and be all fixed up.

Hey, DG. It's been a while since I've checked in here. I've been quite busy so I haven't had as much time for the Forum lately. I'm sorry to hear that your family weren't willing to meet you half way emotionally. That must have been quite hurtful, especially since you're making the effort with your counselling. I think it was nice of your hubby to help you with doll-related tasks since a lot of physical effort was involved. And it's awesome that Lawrence's silicone body suit finally arrived - YAY!!! I'm happy to hear that his repairs went well, too.

Went to check on how his ankle repair was holding up and it came undone. Gotta fix him up again.
That's a weekend project.

I have extra sticky lint rollers, a sonic vibrating lint brush, a washable static cling rubber lint roller and none of them can get the hair and dander off of Lawrence's silicone body.
So...
I decided to give him a nice wash and that helped some. I still had to pick off the individual hairs with my fingers, but he is all clean again and in a new dress shirt that looks nice.
It felt good to rub the damp wash cloth across his chest, back and arms.

Since his right solid silicone foot is barely hanging on with 8 t-pins and is beyond repair, I went ahead and ordered hollow silicone feet/legs. They should help with the weight issue too.
