Found a couple of super cheap costume wigs. Thinking I might get a human-hair wig someday if I can decide on a color/style that I really like.

The braids look good on her, I think. It's also probably an easier hairstyle to maintain.
From these wigs it will surely be easy to vary the color with a photo application. A practical way to test it out cheaply before investing in a luxury wig.

Got a bolt from the local hardware store (8mm-1.25pitch x40mm), the longest they had in stock.

They cut the hole a bit off center.

The hole is about 49mm deep total but the threads may stop a little short of that (I don't have a bolt long enough to check right now)

Also, the standing feet options seem to be confusing for Tayu. I seem to recall Mishka saying she can stand fine with the hard feet, but are hard feet the same as standing feet without bolts? Tayu needs to clarify their messaging on this and make it definitive on what the expectations are!

I haven't received an official answer on hanging from the back hole, but it seems the general consensus is that it is for standing support not for long term hanging.

I agree that tayu needs to clarify the wording on the feet options. The hard feet are not the same as "standing feet hidden bolt" option. The "standing feet hidden bolt" option is actually very soft non-standing feet. The "hard feet" option is for standing for short periods of time and is more stable than the regular soft feet.

Thanks for your response. You should be enrolled on Tayu payroll now for explaining to customers how the feet actually work! LOL!

On MyRobotDoll (MRD), it says, "FEET - Soft feet with studs and hard feet are more suitable for standing while there is a seam line on the ankle area for the hard feet feature. Socks and shoes are necessary before putting your doll to stand."

But then you have many people in the forum, saying that the "hard feet without studs" option cannot really stand! So it's clear as mud. I would assume the hard feet without studs, should be able to stand for a few hours. But I guess the recommendation is confirm in writing with the store of choice before purchase.

Similarly, on MRD it says about the stand: "Back Hole - When you choose to make a back hole, you will be able to store her using a hanging bracket."

To me that implies you can screw a bolt into that back opening and hang her on a wall bracket. But I guess this is another point buyers should 100% confirm before assuming.

It is softer than a silicone MLD I had years ago, and softer than cheep TPE doll I used to have.
It is firmer than my flaby old butt, and softer than when I was young and very fit.
If a water balloon is a 1 and a brick is a 10 I would say about a 4.
