Uploading Videos (Vimeo)

If you need to upload a large video, you can use a free account from Vimeo.com. Then you can link the video for playback directly into a forum post using the Vimeo tags provided in the editor.

If you use a gmail/google account to sign-up you get more permissions.
The basic free account (as of Nov 2022) gets you 5GB total storage, and 1GB per week upload. You can compress videos free using online browser-based services, or phone/computer software to better utilize your limits.
