Meet Emily! She's a "Kelu" model Virgin Rose doll

Her kind are pretty rare these days, as VRD disappeared from the internet years ago. There're only a handful out there that I know of, so I'm very glad I got her when I did

Originally got her in a package deal with 2 other half-scale dolls, her twin Annie who was a Floppy Flo (identical to emily but with no internal skeleton) and a JR-90cm, both of which have since been sold. Felt a little wrong separating her from her twin, but I just couldn't justify owning two super expensive/rare VRD's (They used to sell new for $2000-$3000)

Man, I haven't seen a VRD posted anywhere in years! I always wanted one, but never had the means of buying one before the business went under. Good to see that there's at least some of them still around!

Yeah ngl, I was very lucky to find Emily when I did

Got her and 2 other mini dolls from a collector here on the forums.

Had to sell the other 2 to cover the cost of Emily, but even then i got all 3 for $1500. Back in the day just one VRD would sell for like $2500 new! Pretty nuts

Anyway, heres Emily with her twin, Annie, who was a floppy flow. Sold her about 6 months ago
