Attached hair or Wig?

I want to purchase a doll and I wonder if it's better to get a head with a wig or the ones that the hair is already attached to it?

My personal choice is for wigs. You can buy them inexpensively and it gives you a wide variety of looks. I tend to get bored with one length and shade of hair.
