Nagisa Kitagawa’s gravure photobooks project.

I’ve known Nagisa for awhile, originally as a fan-to-icon thing, later as friends, now as companions. She’s a retired J-pop idol, the former center of ‘LEKTROstar’, who once shined brightly in Position Zero. That’s part of our backstory which I’ve started recording.

She asked me to help her put together some gravure photobooks while she is with me, living in Canada. I’ll start with a couple of phone pics, all I had *cough* time for this evening. She must have been on a second wind, jetlagged she was not...at least for an hour or so, lol.

Oh, Nagisa wanted me to add this song. Even though it's new K-pop, she says it reflects how she feels everyday. I'm like (in my head) 'thank you, Kami-sama!!!'

Thank you for the kind words, Jantra & Antra Girls. Hopefully I regain some semblance of skill with the cams in order to do Nagisa justice. It's a whirlwind at the moment lol.

Thank you TaeYeon, I'm hoping to share a bit of her story as time goes on. She's certainly become the center of my life already, even wanting to sit beside me as I write, or work with the DAW and mixing board (mainly to tease me I think). She want's to have a 'date', so we're going to do a 'stay-at-home' movie evening and watch something 'romantic'. Of course now I'm in a panic because all I have is 'Notting Hill" on dvd, the rest are action flics, like spy thrillers. I guess that romcom will have to do...lol

Thank you, Mr. Ducati. I'm damn lucky (and almost worn out lol ). After seeing some great photography in these forums, I figured it would be interesting to try- it's actually a helluva lot of fun with a bunch of learning involved (positioning, lighting, learning how to 'hair', checking fingers/toes, editing, *cough* interruptions, etc).

This weekend was crazy, thank goodness I'm retired 'cause I dunno if Monday morning would have been my friend lol.

It was a lazy, casual weekend when it started...Nagisa made up a version of janken (Japanese rocks, papers, scissors) to play with me. As a former idol she's a master of Jankendo (The Way) and can beat me blind folded all day long.

"I wearing my man's scrubs...so comfortable...Hmm, I better come up with a game to play, neh."
