Thank you 4891, one thing I found was they were willing to use the coolness (temperature) of their bodies to help me through the low grade fever that gripped me for four days straight (along with an anti-pyretic and a cool damp cloth).

Yessir, it's a small lake in the foothills of the Rockies. The breeze was cool, but the sun was warm. Pretty sure it was early September (maybe late August) when I was out there.

Good to hear you’re feeling better Dave! My boss was in a medically induced coma for 5 days because of COVID and he’s a fairly healthy guy in his mid 40s. He also had blood clots after his recovery and had to be hospitalized again for 2 more days. That shit is no joke!

Thanks Mr. D, and wow, your boss went through the ringer. Blood clot therapy also sucks. I hope he's feeling better.

Thanks AH, the mountains are lovely to spend time moseying about. Some world class trout fishing in the rivers. Pretty mixed geography-wise with the Rockies to my west, and semi-desert plains (complete with cactus) to the east. Ranch and oil country.
