Avatar profile picture sizing issues

Hi,

The max resoltuion for an avator profile picture (120 x 120) is very small.

When i try and reduce my image to those dimensions, it gets blurry - even though the original picture is 4mb.

Does anyone have any advice on how i can make it clearer?

Post the original image here. Someone will crop and resize it for you.

Hello,

I have also noticed that "Ricardo" has big picture 166x166 pixels.
It is very nice! I have only seen Ricardo with this big picture.
I wish I could also have this bigger picture^^

Do you know how is it possible, please?
Maybe because Ricardo is old member, and there was different avatar picture rule in 2003 and Ricardo did not change picture in 19 years 'ㅂ' I think.

This avatar by Ricardo is certainly something from the past. As long as I'm on TDF, max size is 120x120 px

To prevent blurriness, if image is jpeg format then use max quality on these small images. Or try PNG with high quality setting. You can also use gif, but it will have less colours, gif should be used for animated avatars like mine.

Instead of having your own avatar image, there is also an avatar gallery to chose from. This is something from long long ago, probably when TDF started. And some of the images in this avatar gallery are a little oversized.
