YAY! Freckle thread! What a great approach Nirodha. I never thought about a stencil.
Alita has had freckles since day one, it was the first thing I did after she was dressed. I wanted Alita to be unique, and that's what I first came up with to set her apart.
Freckles are so powerful that Agnes and Alita would not exist without them. I declare them charter members of the
TDF FRECKLE FORCE
I had no idea freckles were so "popular" amongst RL girls who don't have them. There are a plethora of freckle tutorials out there. So not only do women spend hours putting make-up on, they go the further step to fake freckles. One girl had confessed that she faked freckles daily and sometimes her friends would ask her "have your freckles moved"?
This seems to go along with the infamous "curly hair dilemma". Girls who have curly hair want straight hair and straight hair want curls. Same with freckles.
I love Anges "all over" look. Alita just has cheek freckles. But I find that extending freckles to other parts (neck, chest, shoulders, etc) adds ALOT to the realism of our ladies. When you think about it, our skin is not pure, so it's fun to experiment with body markings to make them more than just dolls. And no harm, no foul because working with eyeshadow isn't permanent.
I've also seen freckle filters on FaceApp, so you can try that approach for freckles in seconds.
