Porn is trash, whether it's VR or regular porn.

I rather engage in the actual physical activity with my doll or a real woman. I want to caress a body, hump a booty, kiss lips, suck a titty, not watch someone else do it and trick my brain into climaxing..

All that porn is going to mess you up if you ever want to bang a real chick..trust me

Yeah I agree. That's why I stopped watching porn besides amateur cam models on Chaturbate. I don't do the 3D or anime stuff, either. It got my expectations too high.

Dolls can work but they're better when they're heated up and the lights are low. I've had several the past few years. A Realdoll torso, a WM doll, a Chinese doll from Aliexpress, and a Silidoll. They're just higher maintenance because you have to wash and powder them all the time or they get nasty.

As someone who's experienced both, I'd say there's pros and cons to each.

VR, depending on what you are watching, can give you a decent illusion. I got off to one called SinVR a bunch of times. I had a set-up in my VR room with a fleshlight between some pillows on an office chair that I could adjust and move around easily. As others have expressed though, you do lack the complete tactile sensations and companionship that a doll offers.

My biggest compliant with dolls is the weight and the cleanup. I sometimes get turned off in the time it takes to get my doll into a comfortable position. Usually I'll get off another way, VR or other, and then just cuddle with her afterward.
And is she really human?

vr is great but a doll is real sex in my opinion it feels like sex because it is sex your on top of a pretty female body with a sexy face and she feels like a sexy woman and you can really get deeply immersed in a sexual experience that is tactile, im not gonna comment of vr with a doll , but if were talking one or the other they dont compare, if you add lighting, music, perfume , makeup , setting and sound i dont think you can top it.

I'd say dolls, but only because what is called VR at the moment is anything but. VR should to me be like the Matrix or the Below Zero comic strip in 2000AD: you get plugged into a computer and it literally feels like you are really there; until that is available, I'll stick with dolls.

This.

If anyone thought a doll was hard work (and they are, but sooo rewarding) then VR is not exactly a walk in the park. Expensive headset, subscriptions, downloads, uploads, sideloads, whatever and so on.

And, at the end of the day, it's always someone else's fantasy.

With a doll, it is always 100% yours -- and hers.

The problem many people have with dolls that they're static. So you see rise of popularity of face apps to give some smile or another live to the doll on TDF, or wherever they can show it.

Demand for dolls will not shrink, but demand for VR sex experiences could at some point see growing popularity, and grow faster, as new generations, more familiar with VR, will be looking for new entertainment products.

Given that it is cheaper and easier, to create virtual photorealistic animated 3D visual experience (but still not now, hardware isn't there yet, maybe by mid or end of this decade on high-end PCs), than to make a robot, without uncannyness and major technological challenges, VR could triumph in coming decades. For some exciting dynamic sex experience, all you'll need in addition to goggles, will be just a lightweight masturbator... not even a whole doll.

The question is will gaming industry step up to the challenge, or will sex games be niche under-financed indie productions, as the whole VR gaming is nowdays? Given that majority of gamers aren't adults, it is difficult to answer, whether we will see some high quality sex games with a budget, or if any of them will become known title. But still it's too soon to think about this. I started some small indie project, but I keep it on slow flame, it could take some years, before it is going to be an entertaining product.

Idk how about very long term, what will be rolling by the end of the century, maybe sex robotics will eventually take over, but VR is something to keep an eye on in our times.

Dolls for sure - at the minute

As you can tell from my username i prefer my ladies big up top - the bigger the better in most cases

and there is a distinct lack of really big boob VR porn

I have found the combination of VR and a doll works quite well! The Oculus 2 provides nice sharp images and VRBangers has a huge variety of categories of super hot girls in 3D VR. They come up and whisper in your ears and stuff. Very real! If you watch the VR porn sluts while having your doll in front of you…Well in my opinion, it is quit fascinating. Just know that in each video is a routine. It’s usually blow job then doggy then missionary then blow job. Knowing this ahead of time allows you to set your doll for the desirable pose where you want to fill your doll with seeds of love.

I see Virtual Reality (VR) and Dolls as complementary. In fact I see VR, some computer games (like Second Life), and Dolls (the physical doll) as facets of experiences to enjoy your imagined girl in many various settings.

Examples:

In VR, using Virt-A-Mate (VAM), I can play around in different locations/settings, though pretty much the emphasis is posing and/or sexual. No issue there, it's pretty much from point A to point B. There is a lot of learning curve and one does need to have the needed hardware for the VR experience, but you can use the program in desktop mode. Great immersion potential but it still has a way to go to lessen that learning curve.

In games like Second Life, I've created a girl avatar that closely resembles my doll. She has digital mesh cloths, hair, shoes, and make-up, so I can dress her up and we (me with my male avatar) can go for walks on a beach, go sailing, go dancing, go anywhere, do anything. And I do mean anything....

As a doll, I often will hold Alexis close in the evening and think about the places "we visited" in some computer game. True, what I'm doing is building imaginary experiences, but I see Alexis in a way as a narrative entity--or a person in a story, our story. If I was writing a story about her, which in a way I am, I would go through many of the same creative approaches as fleshing out a character, developing her history, her likes, loves, style in cloths, favorite music bands, etc.

This approach works for me and it helps Alexis seem more alive as we write our story together.

I have been a 3D artist for over 20 years. I started when Poser was the only game in town for the home user and the images were very cartoonish. Since that humble beginning there are now several options to create lifelike images. My dream from early on was to have images in real time look as good as the rendered versions. Also, it was to have a virtual reality where you could interact with beautiful 3D women.

Now, I should also say that I have been a doll fan for almost as long. I have had several dolls over the years and have found them to be quite stimulating. If I were single and could keep them at my beck and call at any time, I would be strongly in favor of dolls. As it is, it is a major pain to enjoy my doll.

I got into VR porn a couple of years ago and it was pretty good. I enjoyed that with my Oculus Go, that only cost me $200.00 . Many hours were spent with that. Recently I found Virt A Mate and started playing around with that. I was impressed with this software as it allows you to create whatever reality you want. The scene, the girl, whatever. All of this was happening just using a desktop computer. I bought a new VR headset last week. I bought an Oculus Quest 2 for $300.00 , and it is a game changer! It has a wireless connection to my computer and you can run all of the scenes in a true VR experience. After fumbling through all the learning curves with it, I have spent several hours with beautiful life size women that I could get up and walk around, interacting with them by using my hand to move her breasts, or push her waist around. It has been the most immersive experience ever. Yesterday I loaded up a really hot big breasted, Barbie looking girl and then had her dance for me. I walked around her and observed her as she danced. I sat and drank a beer as she danced, then I had her sit in my lap and stare into my eyes as I fondled her. It is extremely convincing, I am fascinated and exhilarated by this technology and already planning some new things. Also, I should mention that you can load yourself as the male counterpart in a sex scene, which can be awesome as well.

The investment is minimal, as my computer is midgrade, about $600.00 new three years ago. The headset was $300.00 and the software was $8 a month to subscribe to a Patreon. You can drop the subscription anytime, but you won't get any updates and with it you also get lots of free material, girls, clothes, hair, etc.

I consider this to be a much better plan for my situation. However, I will always love dolls!

Similar experience here with VR, Mhunter, though I never took the time to learn Poser. (I need to try that walking around looking at a dancer in VAM.)

Been thinking that VR environments, Poser environments, and even my familiar Second Life environments are excellent places to try out complicated photo shoots layouts for real life doll shoots. That versus all the heavy lifting of dolls, set pieces, lights, etc. to only find the look isn't right or what one imagined. Best of luck to you, your dolls, and your adventures in VR! :glou:

Relatively little time for virtual reality for me, I prefer practical ones to unrealistic action movies lol
Lifelike sex doll is more real for me. My new lover named Elaine is a 170cm tall with big booty adult sex doll. Why not spend more time with her

I know! Right? The Oculus Quest 2 is amazing. The VRBangers web site videos are all filmed from the guys perspective. I can look down and there he is...A much younger version of myself. Its awesome to have the girls perform in front of the onlooker. When she whispers in my ears, it actually gives me goose bumps. All the while banging Julietta in front of me, the whole experience becomes about as real as it can be!
