You make error of beginner....
Listen just, Try to make Nice PLA in First, after try other parameter....
It is a FAIL yes, totaly, print with layers not weld is a FAIL. You need to try other fitting, after go the next, you just listen nothing, and want go to speed....
This is about my bottom-up approach to this I am taking. I don't want perfect quality 3D FDM print at start, for a mold, actually I want it with some small imperfections, to smooth it out and check what method of smoothing out works best. Post processing and smoothing out is very important to me, that's why I will not play with parameters more than I need at this step. Learning how to smooth things has higher priority to me, than perfecting FDM 3D print parameters actually, because I will assemble the mold from small parts like a hobbyist, not print whole mold in 2 large pieces like a factory, and so my assembly will create seams (rows) anyway that I will need to fill. I don't need every line perfectly welded or perfect 3d print of mold parts, as I will need to do smoothing out anyway across all the surface of assembled mold.
So I will not overfocus on minor issues with 3d prints, that working on, does not get me closer to making the doll, I am not planning to sell molds or establish 3D printing services or self-proclaimed advisory on 3d printing, so don't worry. If I will do something truely wrong, only my progress will hurt by that, nothing more. I am not planning to take any mechanical expert or 3d printing job either, because I have my own set of skills (unrealted to dolls or 3d printing) that I make a living from. And I don't need much 3d printing advise now, as saying goes "you learn as you go through", and this is very true in case of 3D printing on your own 3d printer.
This thread is just some my own demonstration to encourage enthusiasts and those who don't even have 3d printers yet, to start doing something similar, not to discuss 3d printing too much. Perhaps my nickname is confusing, but I cannot change it now.
I don't want to do too much bla-bla on this thread about minor stuff, because no photos just blabala in thread, will not attract any attention, so excuse me from disengaging from the discussion on minor print issues.
I will try to regulary post photos on my progress of doll making because that is more important to inspire others, than 10-pages long discussion about minor stuff, that no visitor will want to read. If you want to discuss minor stuff we can do this in private messages.
