Nice to see your project being at home and you being happy with her.
Fantasy dolls are just something special.

I wondered from your photo how the head feels and compares to the body and what the material is.

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. It's been a busy month.
Her face is quite hard. It's not plastic, but feels very solid and durable. I think there are other threads about Textile Dolls that show the interior of the face/head. Between the hardness of her head, and the stiffness of her eyelashes, I'm a bit hesitant to sleep next to her for fear of accidentally damaging her. I will have a better idea of how durable her face is with time.
I'm not very familiar with fabrics, but her skin feels like either spandex or polyester. One of the dresses I bought her is also made from polyester, and her skin as an almost identical texture. While not as soft, fuzzy or "warm" as my Teddy Babe, I suspect she'll be a lot easier to clean.

The Not-Quite Two Week Review.

She's working out great. She continues to look and feel fantastic. I'm still impressed with the quality of her construction, and looks. I'm discovering best-practices for dressing, moving, storing, and "enjoying" her; I want to make sure I'm handling and caring for her in ways that won't damage her in the long run. I continue to experiment with inserts and finding what works best with her in terms of size and fit.

PROS:
I can lift and carry her easily with one arm. She is light, and easy to more around as needed.
She's durable. Her skeleton is solid; she holds poses well, and can almost stand unaided. Unlike my TB, I'm not worried that bending and posing her will weaken her skeleton over time. Her skin is soft enough to feel nice to the touch, but tough enough that I'm not worried about tearing her fabric through normal use or posing.
She's a common dress size, and I can mix and match outfits and wigs between her and my TB.
She looks amazing still. It feels good knowing that she's somewhat unique, and possibly a one-of-a-kind item in the world. (Don't let that stop you from getting your own Devil Girl though!)

CONS:
She's lost three finger and toe nails already. Whatever glue was used on them, isn't going to last long. Fortunately, that's an easy fix, and I've managed to collect all the missing nails so far.
She's not as flexible as I'd have liked. Getting her hips into a 90 degree sitting position isn't as easy as I had hoped it would be. Perhaps I'm being too gentile with her, but I'd rather err on the side of caution here.
Her breasts aren't as contoured as I wanted. The breasts don't have that underside fold that large natural breasts do. So, she looks a bit "off" while naked. On the plus side, they don't look like unnatural balloons either. Her bust just looks better while dressed. I don't think ANY of the fabric doll manufacturers are quite getting this right, so I'm not too bothered by it.
Her hard face and eyelashes make it harder to snuggle with her, and roll her around the bed. Again, I don't want to find the limits of her durability by accidentally breaking something. The Teddy Babe may just have me spoiled in the softness department.

Overall, I'm very happy with her. I think with time and practice, she'll keep me quite happy for a while.

I agree that Textile Dolls look better when dressed as the breast stitching isn't that alluring. On the plus side, unlike with TPE dolls there really isn't an issue of staining so I typically keep mine dressed. I also had a problem with some of the nails coming off, but I superglued the ones that did and haven't had a problem since. They appear to just be normal artificial nails, so you could always replace them with other ones anyway.

New dress!
It's great seeing what you can find on sale that works for our girls. Discount lingerie and Halloween costumes are a blessing for this hobby, since I only have to worry about fit and appearance.
Also, it's nice remembering and practicing what little I know about photography. If I keep this up, I might have to get an actual camera.
Not to brag or show off, but I figure this corner of the forums could use the activity. I figure at the very least, it inspires someone else to order something creative and beautiful from Latvia.

While searching for clothes that fit my TPE doll, I found some great stuff one sale.

...that fit my other dolls.

Seeing how it fits both my Teddy Bade, Lucita, and Lulu (seen here) I'd say it was a $20 well spent!

Very interesting and unique girl you got there Gaijin. Lulu is super special indeed. Love the outfits you photograph her in too. The girls and I look forward to her upcoming adventures!
