If you put nylons or like pantyhose on it the nylon material will make it feel smooth but the stretchyness of it will squeeze in on the foam thus reducing the size of the doll.So go with Rubenesque at first

My foam doll has skinny legs now

After going through the many posts in this inventors thread i seen a lot of people start a doll making project and they seem to do a disappearing act half way through and never give a reason for this after making their announcement and after all the people who put effort in to help them, what a shame!

I am determined to go all the way even if my doll ends up looking like "jar jar binks" :? I will even post the embarrassing pic for all to see.

The doll is still in sculpting stage as i'm perfecting her shape and getting her in proportion. I plan on making the doll self lubricating once i decide on the sex insert.

Who,me?
I have to find time to do this here stuff.
Been workin 84 hrs a wk.
Any way,I uploaded some pics...Cosmotology heads and some never before seen pics of the hand part of my Doll skell.
AS for the heads...the center one is on the small side
like you mentioned, the others are fairly normal size, the blonde has a
white ring around base that I cover with something fleshtone.
TT what happened to the ebay pic of mannequin head you posted earlier?
I think that one would be of a more lifelike size, the more expensive
usually are,and buy them with as long of hair as possible, can be
cut and styled to your likeing and won't pull off like a wig, though you can put a wig on them also.
I tried the foam only route but decided on makeing a skelleton for
realism, sturdiness and accurate range of movement and limitations. So started building in 1996.These hands and her new joints made in the past year.Hand is made of steel,I thought aluminum or brass would be too soft.
The last thing I want is finger wires break'n n pokin' through!!!Wrist twist is allowed by the cunduit connector screw extending into the 180 degree slot in the tube that extends from the wrist 120 degree up n down pivot which is after the wrist 90 degree side to side pivot point which is welded to the back hand plate, the thumb has a ball and socket type base, the fingers float on a contured rod and have stops so they
won't bend back too far yet can make a tight fist with thumb tucked in.
Here are two pics,to see more click album link.

I pulled off the foam and outer cover from the hand to show it not to mention she is a temporary amputee now, good thing she's right handed

PS I'm very partial to this site, can't log on as often as I'd like...I do my best to remain involved.
Go ahead.....make my Doll!

I see what you mean I thought a lot about that before I started my project. that is one of the reasons I am doing a very fake woman so that I don’t set my sights to high and get down when I cant reach the top of my artistic skills and I just like robotic women  I can see your project is looking better and better every day so that encourages me a lot. Keep up the good work and lovrmakr1 that is a very nice hand.

No one in particular, i was referring to past projects 1 to 2 years old that went dead. No way do i underestimate the enormous task of building a complex doll that requires time effort and lots of good old cash. But hey there's me making a simple foam doll compared to you guys.

The head i posted had ended on ebay just after i got the measurements from the seller and turned out to be a good size but price went up too high for me.

Typically they run 15-40 bucks,new n used.
The one you show is a fairly new one on the scene,I was tempted to pick one up.
Check ebay weekly for new-new and used heads.sometimes they have hair all cut off or a really messed up do.If it is an attractive one to you you can put a wig on it 8O

TT...The links in your posts keep disapearing :?:

Problem is with long links they make your posts very wide, i dont now
another way to fix this.

Is this the type of insert you may add to the head: http://shop.sex-superstore.com/cgi-bin/ ... ia=&init1=

Actually I made my own but am concidering buying one of those precisely, but through the forum store to help support site you know
I would remove the area around the lips or mouth as the heads have noses...

Cyberskin can be melted and recast so save the bits n pieces.

Also the stem/trunk of the mouth can bend down into the neck making it more realistic to penetrate.

I have not received anything, my inbox is empty :?

So is my head at the moment. I'm making a motorized joint for the arms so the doll can push itself up and down.

I think a metal geared rc servo will do the job i have one on my monster
truck and it is unstoppable! so i may have a winner, and the joints are easy
to make so its no big streesfull task. Also using rc servos and receiver i can
alter the speed and response time!
