Looking for Silicone Glue

Post by SacredShen »

G'day Fellas,

I own a Starpery 169cm full silicone doll. She has no damage currently, but there is a potential poke in her thumb that I am worried about. I live Australia and about a 5 minute drive from Bunnings. Is there anyone who also lives in Australia that owns a silicone doll that can recommend me the best silicone glue? I tried looking for Silpoxy, but they don't sell it in Australia. Also, if anyone can link me some good silicone repair videos, ill be most thankful. Cheers!

Could someone take a look at these products and tell me which would be the best one? I am near a autoparts store that sells them.

Permatex is good.
I have used it to repair my DS lady and my Sanhui lady.

Silpoxy has to be ordered online as far as I know. I'm in the states and you can't find it in stores.
Just go to smooth on website, or look up silpoxy online.

Oh yeah, don't know if this matters to you but silpoxy cures faster than permatex.

Hope that helps.

I usually use the windshield one, but the rtv should work too.
I have had good results with it.
Just keep it in the fridge after you open it so it will last longer.

I cut open Natalie's wrist today.
viewtopic.php?p=1928075#p1928075

I have been emailing Jeff @ BCD who got me in touch with Evan, when my issue happened, and he was nice enough to send me some glue, even though I had already ordered some SIL-Poxy from Amazon.

Now I'm searching for the video and/or pics/post on "how to" glue silicone tears/holes.

Normally, you will have to clean the area with alcohol that you will glue.
Nice thing about silicone, is you an use staples like stiches to hold the cut tight.
I do not know what this will do on the dolls with HR painting
I have seen some people use sran wrap to pull things tight as well

. One vendor name kept coming up as being great at helping customers walk through the process, Booty Call Dolls. So I decided I would work with them on this first purchase, and did.

You could not of found a better person to help you with your first doll. Jeff /Booty call dolls, knows his stuff... One of the few members that is a vendor and a real lover of dolls. He owns quite a few dolls, and really understands the love we all share.
