Making a different kind of minidoll.....
I’ve been interested in silicone based sex dolls for decades. I bought one years ago but the weight made it awkward to use and enjoy. Which peaked curiosity into minidolls.
There are quite a few minidolls available for purchase but only two or three really caught my attention. And this got me thinking how difficult is it to actually build a sex doll?
And how difficult would it be to build a minidoll in a certain style?
This lead me down a bit of a rabbit hole, off and on for a few years now. Which has lead me to where I am at now.
I found a 3D artist who’s style fits with the type of minidolls id like to make. I’ve already commissioned from them a few different 3D characters with 3D models as well.
My reasoning? To use the 3D models for 3D printing and 3D print out figures at a certain scale/size. From the 3D printed figure, I can create a mold. Then with the mold I can cast silicone minidolls of the characters.
I’ve already figured out the blend of silicone I plan to use, as well and the skeletal structure that will go into the minidolls as well.
My plan is to make the first minidolls 62cm tall. The main reason is from the cost and complexity involved with 3D printing the figures. After that is done, the real fun begins....
I’ve attached some images as samples of the artists work.

Thanks, I’ve been wanting to see more plump minis as well. Things are slow to start, but hopefully once I do the first couple it’ll get easier.Hershey lee wrote:Been wanting to see more plump minis, hope your plan works out,I had made a big booty 100cm but there is a hole in my mold & I'm looking into fixing it cause it wasn't cheap
Good luck to you too. A mold fix can be tricky but it’s doable.

Re: Making a different kind of minidoll.....
Do you plan on making a skeleton for the 62cm version?
If yes, I'd go ahead and bump the project up to a 100 - 140cm doll. The same amount of work is required for either. The larger doll will just be a little more material, but a larger doll is actually usable as a sex doll. A 62cm not quite so much.
Good luck on the project regardless of what you decide!

Thanks. My plan is to do 62cm to start. If I can nail down the fabrication process, I’ll increase the size to 104cm.rubherkitty wrote:What height is your ultimate plan?

Re: Making a different kind of minidoll.....
All of that is very true. I’ve gotten the skeleton figured out I believe and the material as well. I’ve decided to go with a blend of various types of silicone, to both make the dolls light weight and easier to maintain and clean. I’ve also decided to go with plastic parts for the skeleton, since the dolls won’t be significantly heavy. As least the smaller ones to start. Not sure who well the parts will hold up at large scales.MannyCan wrote:The technique is pretty sound. But of course there are many things in practice that has to be addressed. Skeleton, alignment, material, adhesion, post production .. not an easy task .. but also no impossible.
Sill many more things to consider and to factor in but I’ve got a few things nailed form at least. LoL

Oh, and how are you gonna print something that tall?
