I got the eyes off of amazon, same ones i used for the fairy build. They came in a variety pack and were not the set i ordered, a few different sizes/colors/styles. Alot of them are too small but i wasn't too sure about sizes when i ordered.
I put a few together to make the set,they are a pain to work with but i dig the alien look, need to work on the andriod/cyber part
Lots of other mods to figure out that will be a challenge
Gotta admit i might have been jealous of immortan joe, new furiosa trailer looks badass, stay shiny!

That is sooooooo friggin cool. Love that look. Be careful of the metal on the tpe. Might need some good old foam clay to make a connection that doesn't dent her head.(sorry, just trying to help) Otherwise, Wayyyyy cool!!!! I wasn't interested in Furiosa until now.

I agree. I love Species. After watching the second time I realized, I would have fallen for her as human and or in alien form. (Honey, tonight would we do alien style??? Pulleeeezzz!!!)
And yes, I want to build a full size Sil.

See, this is why I want to get into 3D printing.
There are several semisoft filaments that would work well.

Well, instead of d!ck!ng around, I worked on the shed. Getting closer, but it's slow.

Question for everyone. If you would buy a specialty doll, which one?
Monster sex dolls or android robot looking dolls.

I did get a better finish on the bikini part, but it was after this pic. now the pieces are going into the next phase. This is the last picture I took. There's still lots of work to do on it...

Elle might become the Android project. Most of her joints have become loose. Her face was also drooping. It has become unstuck from the skull. So she has a new jaw which is really cool. And using an L-shaped wire, I can open and close her mouth.

Sil would be an awesome build, what a babe. Might be a little bit outta my league... for now

Another build i have considered/attempted is Kerrigan from starcraft
The problem i am having is making the dreadlocks
Even worse is attaching them, this is a recurring problem i have been having with tails/hairstyles and with last post the tubing.Really need to figure out a solution to connect while keeping the look i want

I have considered imbedding magnets and might end up trying it out, not that i wanna make any more cuts into the TPE
Having a 3D printer would be awesome,i would love to have one

To answer MX-V about specialty dolls, monster vrs android? i say neither choice, i want to make my own! I will concede some of them are great already and if i had the means for a harem it would be a different story
Really i want to see more innovation from manufacturer.Like gel butts,better skeletons, etc etc
How about a L-shaped wire for a poseable mouth? sounds excellent to me

Holly is still theory crafting a bunch of stuff on her new turn

First of all, these new looks are incredible. I love that look. You got me kind of thinking about building dolls to sell. One of the things that I worried about is the amount of work versus what I should charge. The other is the quality. There is a an amount of homemade quality in my work that would not do well. Maybe with printed costumes , it would be a lot different . Now the thought of making external costumes to transform an existing doll is a possibility. The other thought is that part of the fun is the creativity and building. I have a theory that the generation that has been born into the existence of dolls, 90s to 00s, has far less desire for specialty dolls. I know there are some out there that truly want something different. But even watching on this forum how that fantasy dolls have become less and less desirable according to the newest dolls coming out. Maybe I'm Wrong. Doesn't matter.

The attachment conundrum. I'm not a fan of making incisions in the tpe. Even after going through the precise instructions, the wound always seems to open up again.
I've wanted to have a really cool tail that matched the tpe and was bendable and yet soft enough
Attached right above the crack. But it would have to be detachable when she wants to lay on her back. So there's that. Now attaching dreadlocks, I just thought of a use for all of those wig caps that come with the purchase of wigs. Sewing into the wig cap you could actually make an entire wig.

Kerrigan would be a great build. I love the headpiece as it's kind of alien dreadlocks. I wish I had the space to do a wing set or tentacles whatever you call the things coming from her back. I've been kind of looking into that as I think I could use some of the materials that I have for it. Anyway, here's another picture of T'ai. Showing that less is more. The arm and leg pieces are going to the robot build.

Nice photos! I like your entry in the photo contest, too! It's always nice to see people who don't usually enter turning out! I thought about forced perspective myself to make one of my minis look the same size or larger than Arachne for my entry, but lighting things on fire won out.

Are my eyes playing tricks on me for the color of her armor? Was it repainted green or is that just the lighting? The first two look green but there's obviously a green light casting onto her surroundings as well. The third picture her top looks grey again but her panties are questionable and it looks like some green light in the background too? Is that just a cool property of the paint? You could definitely have some fun with that!

Oh, and to answer your earlier question, it's hard to say without seeing the actual two options, but I think in general I'm more likely to pick a monstergirl over a robot.

This is my best build yet. I took my time and smoothed the pieces out as best as possible. Every now and then I'd like to enter a contest. But I never really want to win, when you have a doll you've already won. I just like joining in the fun.

The pieces are flat black. The LED lighting I'm using have different colors available, and I like the amber cast, but I can see now that it does give a green. Which is really kind of bitchin.

I appreciate the input on Monsters or robots. And this has helped me to realize that I will finish my robot girl, but always keep T'ai as my Changeling.
I've already changed her costume into something appropriate for the season. The first picture was a happy accident with the tripod, not a Glock.
So be very very quiet, I'm hunting wabbits hahaha.
