Are you planning to put hollow-core components inside the doll in order to reduce weight?

There are currently no male dolls that have hollow-core components so I don't think we have the technology to do this while maintaining realism. Female dolls can be made with hollow breasts, but those are the only hollow parts that I'm aware of. Hollow breasts feel differently from solid breasts, so I don't think hollow buttocks or hollow legs will feel realistic. If anyone knows of any female dolls that use lightweight components, we'll be happy to check if that technology is applicable to male dolls.

Even if you make him less muscular like Adam, please consider keeping his arms bigger and more muscular like your first picture. I just adore muscular arms, and nobody makes a doll (that I've seen) that looks hunky enough. And please put in some subtle veining on his biceps and forearms (as well as his hands), that looks so sexy!

Hello everyone, we are developing a new male body and 2 new heads. One is a young-looking head and one is a niche older looking head for those who have been asking for a mature male doll. We are looking for feedback and suggestions before the mold is finalized and the dolls are created.

I would make two smaller muscles clusters below the last two defined clusters on the lower abdominal area and blend the big puffy areas out more and make that area less puffy in appearance more sleek. O.o I just commented on a male doll.

Please consider giving him what I refer to as a "square" chest (pectorals). I've never seen them on a male doll, they're unique, rare, and very sexy!

First of all the technology to make a foam core doll does exist. They've been doing it in the auto industry for decades, to make the components for the vehicle interiors and dashboards. I worked in auto assembly for years and saw how they do it. A dashboard has to be able to protect vehicle occupants in an accident, so they make them out of rigid foam with a rubber/plastic exterior. It's a two step process. First the foam is injection moulded over the steel frame. Then the rubber outer shell is molded over the foam. This same process could be done over a standard steel doll skeleton. The rigid foam would act as a support to the TPE. Most of the foam core would be in the chest area and possibly the thighs. The big question is, would the foam core reduce the weight enough to justify the extra steps in production and the cost? Another possible concern would be TPE splitting over the foam when the doll is moved around.

Secondly, I have a fabric female doll who is made from two layers of cloth, with upholstery foam underneath and a steel and pvc skeleton. Her body is remarkably lifelike for a fabric doll. Only the limb "bones" are pvc with metal joints. I don't recommend the pvc, when I got the doll her arm joints were already broken and I had to repair them. I took photos of the interior of the doll. She has tpe breast implants and a removable tpe vagina. She is 160 cm tall but only weighs 12 kg. Here's the manufacturer website with photos: http://dollstudio.org/products/doll/happy-doll/ha-160s

I think fabric male dolls could be a lighter and cheaper alternative to TPE dolls for many women. They could have removable TPE penises and possibly TPE or silicone heads. You could even add implants for the butt and pectorals. Body hair would be easy to add and less likely to fall out. They feel warmer than TPE. They can be spot cleaned or deep cleaned with an upholstery steamer.

I read somewhere here, the opinion, or maybe it was actually tried, I cannot verify, that a foam core will not work with TPE, since TPE is heat injected at a high enough temperature to melt a foam core.

Soft, flexible foam like upholstery foam would never stand up to the heat of the TPE. The foam used in automobile dashboards is hard but light weight. It stands up to the heat of liquified plastic polymer, but it has cure/harden before they can add the extra layer. It's similar to the canned "crack sealer" insulation foam that people use to fill holes beside pipes etc.
