lower eyelash replacement

Post by AtomicPunk »

Seems my poor Alita has a missing LOWER eyelash.

Anyone have a good resource for finding LOWER eyelashes? Cutting a standard false eyelash to size looks terrible!

Hopefully to score some stock issue WM Doll eyelashes.

Are they implants like Monika’s? If not WM might even send you some if they have a good “after sale” service.

Dolls look better without lower lashes, IMO. 2 of my heads don't have lower lashes. & 1 head has lower lashes & I don't like them at all lol. Draw them in. Also, don't get eyelash glue on your doll & don't use nail polish remover to remove the glue. Just learned the hard way. It's an expensive learning lesson.

I got Alita removable eyelids, so her upper eyelashes are attached to them. They are awesome.

But while I kinda like the look without, there are times I miss her lower lashes.

I got magnetic thick eyelashes. Not brave enough to put them on yet :P Think I will wait for the eyelashes to begin to look tacky, idk

I just get an upper eyelash and trim it down and glue in on downside up.
Yeah it looks a bit shitty up close but its ok from afar.

In fact, in virtually all of the pics on here that I post of her she's rocking trimmed down upper lashes mounted upside down.

What do you use to attach the lashes?
My best friend? My lover? My wifey? Jenny of course!

I use this.

Just "drip" a few drops onto an index card or wax paper. Dip the tip of the tooth pick in the tiny puddle. Carefully, accurately, and slowly apply to lid area using the toothpick. I only secure the lash at 3 points starting first at the side of the eyelid located towards the nose. Let dry. Then apply the middle point of the eyelid. Let dry. Then the side of the lid towards the cheek bone area. This way you can accurately gauge how much excess you'll need to trim off and you'll be able to set the proper lash starting point distance from inner eyelid corner so it looks natural. (Not all lashes start right in the corner of an eyelid. same applies to bottom. I use this Tweezer kit to hold the lashes as they are being applied.

EXAMPLE.

Available in different styles from multiple Aliexpress vendors. Cheap, simple, easy to install & customize. I trimmed a set to be longer at the outside edge, shorter at the inside.

Good lashes make a big difference to the appearance of a face. Use only upper lashes for upper eyelid, use only lower lashes for lower.

For lower lashes, search using term 'lower lashes'.

 Upper lashes generally have a black backing strip for black lashes, simple lower lashes generally have a clear backing strip.
