We will probably play some pachinko later.
After I take care of a split seam on her left hand ring finger. This seam was split open since she arrived, but not to the bone deep, just superficial. I do not want it to open up further, so we are going to sil-poxy it shut.

Re: Summit Series 168 Review
Seems while I was moving Maho yesterday, I impacted her right foot on the floor, or edge of some furniture or something. she lost a toenail and she got a small tear in the bottom of her foot. I was already planning to fix up a seam split on her finger today (she came with it) so I got the sil-poxy out and we got her all fixed up, foot tear sealed, toenail replaced, and finger seam shut. We also pierced her ears. busy day of primping and preening. 24 hours for full cure of the sil-poxy.. so she is resting up.
Also, I got Maho with implanted public hair, it was sparse to start, and a bit less than half has come out. She has only been with me a week and we haven't done anything that stressful I thought. A lot of posing and clothes changing. It was something I requested, but did was not charged extra for. Can not recommend it.
The hair on her head is doing fine.. of course some has been shed, but nothing significant.

Re: Summit Series 168 Review
Got to fixing up Maho's back. I took the plug, cut off the outside disc, turned it around and put in the hole that I had prepped with sil-poxy.
Here are the pictures. 24 hours to full cure, but then she will be 100% waterproof.
Plug as manufactured. Dime for size comparison. Sil-Poxy, a must for any silicone doll companion. Plug cap cut off, turned around and inserted into hole after sil-poxy applied in hole and around outside gap. Sil-poxy spread smooth and cleaned up for outside seal. Not perfect, but better than a plug cap that catches hair, clothes, and would let water into the skeleton. EX would not fill the hole with matching silicone even with request because then they could not put her back into paint to conceal it. This hole is where the back hangar goes and that is how they get her around the factory.

So how jiggly are the exdoll breasts? I haven't seen a video yet to demonstrate this.

Nicely done NH, i really wish EX would seriously reconsider offering the option to seal off that hole themselves before shipping, as not everyone has the need to hang their dolls.NormalHuman wrote:

My girls are always out and about so if i were to purchase a summit doll myself i would also prefer her not to have a hole in her back.
All in all you've done a pretty damn fine job at it i think.
Even if it is still somewhat visible, it is much, much better looking than the plug she had... maybe it can even become part of Maho's backstory now

Re: Summit Series 168 Review
They have a medium density memory foam core, they are not ultra-soft bouncy breasts if that is what you are looking for. they will deform when weight is put on them, and rebound to shape quickly. They are soft to handle, but not like marshmallow soft.Pip-Doll88 wrote:So how jiggly are the exdoll breasts? I haven't seen a video yet to demonstrate this.

Re: Summit Series 168 Review
Filled would have been my preference too, but seeing layout pictures of the factory, and they move the dolls suspended by hangars from each stage to the next. I can understand how it would have caused them a lot of difficulty if she had no way to hang.ZannyDanger wrote:Nicely done NH, i really wish EX would seriously reconsider offering the option to seal off that hole themselves before shipping, as not everyone has the need to hang their dolls.NormalHuman wrote:

Re: Summit Series 168 Review
It's good stuff.. and it has a shore hardness of 40A, our Summit ladies skin is somewhere in the 30-45A. The elasticity to break of sil-poxy is about 750%, which means you can stretch it really far before if snaps. it is basically overkill for fixing up skin tears on our ladies, but it works, there is no mixing, or multiple application steps, and it's clear so it doesn't cause a colour problem. you can add colour to it if you like, but colour matching is tough unless you have the original formula mix.BiSH wrote:I'm adding Sil-Poxy to my list. I used to work with silicone and plastics in manufacturing and mold making, but I think anyone with the ability to use a fairly steady hand should have no problem using this for minor repairs on their dolls skin.
Maho is feeling good today, we are having bath time here again. she sure does attract little fuzzy bits. And she is way too excited, so will probably be taking some pictures after.

Re: Summit Series 168 Review
Quick question. I see you say 24 hrs for full cure but the tube of sil-poxy says 12 minutes. Just asking your advice on how long I should wait for finished procedure? I had a skin tear and a toe split.NormalHuman wrote:So I got the sil-poxy out and we got her all fixed up, foot tear sealed, toenail replaced, and finger seam shut. I gotta do a better job protecting her feet.
