Token Gifts

Lee:Okay young ladies, time to pick a present.
Nancy: There are 8 gifts, do we each get 2?
Lee: I'm sorry, but no, the 4 left over items will go into the estate"s game room.

Nancy: Okay I have mine picked out.
Yoko: I think I have a good one. It rattles a little
Nancey: I think I have a good one picked out.
Smirk: Hey Lee, do you think this is a good one.
Lee: I don't know but you all chose the boxes. I am ready to see what you picked out.

All four girls: Oh no, they are in a tear proof bag.
Yoko: Lee where did the tools go. We need a sharp edge.

So I grabbed a knife and opened all the bags for the girls.

Nancy: I got Lucky Bear along with a comic book and magnifier sheet. I have been needing something at hold at night. Lee keeps ignoring me.

Yoko: I got Ker-Plunk. There are several of this in the game room. Whenever I go to check one out, they are all checked out already. Now I can Play whenever I want to.

Nancey: Wow. I got a little Barbie doll. She is even smaller than the ones at the big friendship party last year. Dolls playing with dolls.

Lee: Okay girls, I hope you all enjoy your gifts. Now I have to run along and talk to Chandrelle and Nynaeve about some new members coming to the estate.
Smirk: Really, are the cute? can I take pictures of them?
Yoko: Maybe we can teach them how to fix things.
Nancey: They can't have my Barbie.
Nancy: Maybe we can teach them to drive?

Some members here already know my father has been having some serious health issues for the past few months.
My dad just passed a few hours ago at the age of 80.
I visited my dad yesterday although he was sound asleep the entire time. I shaved his beard and trimmed his mustache, both of which had grown due to lazy nurses and aids. I was the only family member to be able to say goodbye before he passed.

I am going to take a break for a bit to spend time mourning.

Sorry to hear about your dad but at least he went in his sleep and got to wake up in Heavan!

It is very sad. Losing a parent makes you an orphan. Your father will live on in your memory and in your thoughts. I wish you strength to face this ordeal. And I hope that your dolls will distract you from the sad thoughts.

Pardon the Interruption!

Lee reached out to me today and asked me to post for him. His computer broke and he won’t have a new setup for a couple weeks. He will be unable to log on until then. He said he didn’t lose any photos or critical data.

Hopefully, his girls will fix his IT issues faster than his RC cars!
