The next 3 pics show the adjustments I made for a good fit before any gluing to make the lids lie flat on the eyeball.

I placed the lid marked "3rd" over the lid marked "2nd", drew a line & cut approximately 5/16" (8 mm) off the back of the "2nd" lid, then reversed the process. Please notice I left the line on the "2nd" lid, but cut it off the "3rd".

The final dimensions of the now elliptical eyelids are:
1 3/8" (3.5 cm) along the Elliptical points line
1 1/16" (2.7 cm) front-back
For the notch, I cut a slit along the front center line 7/16" (11 mm) deep, then made cuts 1/16" (1.5 mm) on each side tapering towards the end of the slit. I cut it like this because I don't want a 1/8" X 1/8" (3 X 3 mm) bulge showing in the middle of her eye.
The side slits start 1/8" (3.2 mm) in front of the Elliptical Points Line(EPL), are 1/4" (6.4 mm) deep, & end 1/16" (1.6 mm) in front of the EPL.
Here's the lids installed, before gluing, to check the fit. I left them out a little to show how they lie on the eyeball.
