Re: #ProjectAdagio: The Darkest Sanhui Ever
No doubt you have to change the color of the eyebrows and breast areolas, greetings.

Thanks Pabz! We're going to finish this up today hopefully.Pabzilla wrote:Wow what a difference doing her lips has made, together with those eyes and skin colour that is an amazing look.
Superb stuff here Endless War
Yup the eyebrows, nailed it.Broven wrote: I was thinking, though she already looks amazing as she is, that the eyebrows looked much better with the blonde wig than with the black. Still a freakin' knock-out though.
That's a good idea. I'm kinda mad I didn't think about that beforehand. I'll have to try that at some point.Wight wrote:Endless War,
suggestion: howabout lightening skin under her eyebrows, over the eyes. The eyebrows black - same as her eyelashes and hair, to make them look organic.
Could also try lightening her boob tops a little so areola comes visible.
I agree. I'll try to end things today.DollLyfe wrote:The edited photo looks good. I'm on pins and needles to see where this goes!
No worries. I appreciate the effort. I like the look of he blue areolas. I personally prefer that makeup style, but wanted to avoid applying too much make up to Adagio only because I have a lot of girls here with heavy make up. Otherwise, yeah, I like that.rgv4 wrote:More or less this is how I visualize it ....
I have edited, your photo, with the intention of helping you, I hope you are not upset with me, greetings friend.

So you guys nailed it.
The eyebrows need an intervention.
I tried a few blue hues but settled on this one.
I still wasn't sure so I did one side to check it against what we already had.
Well, its a lot better with the blue hair than what we had.
So let's do both sides and see how it looks.
Its better.
But something STILL didn't feel quite right.
I stared at her like this for a week,
Put her in the outfit I bought for her,
And tried to convince myself it was cool.
It wasn't. It just wasn't.
So I completely redid her eyebrows with our inner glow concept.
I did this similarly to her lips "process-wise" so I didn't take step-wise photos.
I ultimately used two different shades and two different hues of blue.
Here is the final result:
But...
We're still not done...

Suddenly it ties everything together beautifully, and she looks so full of life because of it.
You have undeniable talent with Makeup EW, but that would be oversimplifying things... i mean not only in applying it, but also creating a vibrant personality in the process.
I think these recent pictures of Adagio illustrate this concept wonderfully. I like her

Great segue Broven, thanks! I thought I was done too until..Broven wrote:She looks fantastic! How can she not be done? Lol
Thanks ZD. Yes, we had to work from top to bottom then back to the top but I think it worked well in the end.ZannyDanger wrote:I'll agree... been a while since i checked this thread, but the masterful coloration of her eyebrows makes a huge difference in my opinion.

Surprise Ending
Trust me, I had planned on stopping there.
Until I got a message from the extremely talented The Doll Laboratory.
He noticed I had used some of his eyelids in a previous picture and made an incredible offer.
Backstory: I had been ruminating over purchasing his eyelids and teeth and tongue set ever since I first saw them several months ago.
The extra character and layer of personality that can be added is incredible.
This is evidenced in the ingenious comic he's been producing in his thread.

Its a great read. Worth the time.
Anyway, I finally pulled the trigger and was so excited I was trying them on EVERYONE!
In the initial Adagio photos I took, she had them in.
So The Doll Laboratory said he had some in Adagio's color and asked if I would try them out.
In my mind I was going crazy, "HELL YEAH, OMG! THIS IS AWESOME!"
He sent them. And these are they:
These are a lighter weight model he has developed.
I'm sure The Doll Laboratory can go more in depth about them.
But please allow me to say this,
Having the ability to open and close your dolls eyes is incredible.
I did a few poses just to accentuate the ability but even the subtle expressions you can achieve
by having her eyes squint is amazing.
If you have been on the fence about purchasing some, I can say they are a very worthy upgrade.
It's one of those innovations that helps bring out your doll's personality and makes them extra special.
And of course you can remove the anytime, so there really is no downside.
Ok so back to the current project.
As you can see, the way we did Adagio's makeup and
the natural design of her head leaves her with this lip above the lid:
I had to remove her original eyelash too else she would have had double eyelashes.
This wasn't a problem for me looking at her in person, but in photos her extra lip and
the dark space underneath looked a bit odd.
I could fix this by making her makeup consistent on the eyelid and/or integrating them into her head better.
So that may be a future update.
But not fully closed, I love the more mature and confident look it gives her:
So big thanks to The Doll Laboratory and his kindness.
And special thanks to all of you who have followed this thread and journey.
We are not done and I'm sure there will be many more pictures to share in the future,
but the initial creation of Adagio's look is finally complete.
Now the process of discovering the inner workings of her mind begins.
I'll post later with some final thoughts and a conclusion on this chapter.
But for now I wanted to highlight what so many have said throughout:
The possibilities are endless.
These are just a few images to show the HUGE differences a small lighting change,
position, or a little magic of Photoshop can make.
Currently Adagio has changed and is in her school uniform.
She thanks all of you for the support and so do I.
All the best,
EW

Adagio is Jawdroppingly beautiful EW. Such a unique look, and then what kind of character is born? "The possibilities are endless". Thanks for taking us on this trip.

I'm also totally with you on the eyelids. I get mine from another source, but I get them for every head and have told them it's the single best aftermarket upgrade you can get. The levels of expression you can get open a whole new world.
Anyway, thank you for doing this! It's been a pleasure and an education

I’m glad you could find some use for the black eyelids I have sent to you.
Adagio looks so cool now. A mix of classic and future. The Mona Lisa of the next Century. You really made an excellent job with this new character of yours. Somehow you remind me of J.F. Sebastian from Blade Runner. I have a soft spot for this character in the movie.
Thank you for having allowed me to participate just a little bit to your project.

I like the color style of the eyebrows, good work friend, the eyelids with eyelashes, they are a delicious idea, mmmmmm, now your black goddess, is more appetizing and seductive.
There are still some details missing, the color of the nails and, of course, the color of the areolas and the vaginal lips, I want to see, I want to see, lol, greetings, makeup master.
