We received very sad news, long time 'platinum' member John Deerman has passed away.

John has been a good friend to many members of TDF. He was a great contributor to TDF and CoverDoll. He attended the US Doll Meets, and a few years ago also the European/UK Doll Meet and he was going to join the European/UK Doll Meet this year again.
He made a lot of friends. We will remember him, he'll be missed.

Our thoughts are with his daughters, their families, and all his friends.

His public memorial service will be held in Virginia, USA, on August 18th. John would have wanted as many of his friends who can attend to attend. For details please contact TDF Staff.

So sad to hearing this news, was very much looking forward to meeting him. A great loss to the forum, doll friends and the world in general. A genuinely nice person.

This is very sad news, indeed. I've met him several times at the Hershey Meet's, and he was a genuinely nice person. He will be missed . . .

I only met him once at the UK Meet apart banter on here and he was a really lovely guy. He was one you don't forget as well as being most interesting to talk to and was an instant friend. My thoughts are with his kin.

It's sad to read this. I would have been happy to meet him at the EU doll meet.

Truly sad to hear. He was a really cool guy always had fun seeing him at meets.

Sorry to hear the news. This place truly is a community, and when members pass away - especially the long timers who've contributed so much - it's a loss to us all.

John invited me to my first meet right after I got Tasha. He was a special guy. This is a big loss to our community.
