is it like there's air in the mold that didn't get out from under the silicone ?
the most part of the area could be hidden by a nice long hair wig,
so the price should be great
maybe here it's more problematic because of the skin tone
huh ?
oh yeah, big moderator is watching me...
no, I am not a racist, blah blah...
I didn't see many African dolls so far, that's what I mean ( of course )
I love that face 1 Melissa- you barely see them around though. If face 15 wasn't ready in time I was trying to decide between face 1 and the Rui face. I have changed my order once already.....poor Debra, she has to put up with us doll "folk", it must drive her crazy.
I am so in love with that face 15, but if it's not ready in time for my doll to be poured, I don't want it to push off my order. I decided my back up face will be Rui with light green eyes all natural make-up in tan skin tone. I really like the expression Rui has on her face, a horney little grin. i'll probably end up ordering a Rui face anyway...too expressive to pass up.
I am super duper excited!!!

The problem is, most of the pictures we have at our current website suck big time. Some are still from the first photo shots that were done when the face came out. So if there are no other pictures around people stick with those faces they find in places like this because here they can see how it really looks.
How often need I to tell you that Face 15 is ready !!!!Stacy wrote:... I am so in love with that face 15, but if it's not ready in time for my doll to be poured, ...
So stop worrying!!!! Relax!!! You will get your Pam
Thomas,
I meant to say if the skull cap takes 5 weeks, but miraculously my doll get's poured in 4 weeks (wishfull thinking, I know) please, don't let a skull cap keep you all from sending my doll early shoot- I'll take a face-less doll at this point....just kidding.
I can't friggin' wait

WOW that's soooo cool you are going through Abyss.
It is all going to be good! RD will deliver LOL...
I had a chance to see this doll up close and personal when I visited Abyss and I really liked her.
The RD will be high maintenance but so are a lot of people LOL..
You will finally get a doll to love!

Sounds like you need a polymer chemist to troubleshoot your curing process. If you see a guy in a labcoat holding a cardboard sign saying "Will work for dolls".......Thomas wrote:It's the silicone coming of the mold surface before it's fully solid.
We have an idea why but no proof yet.
P.S. Ever get a "weigh-in" on the B8??
