Doll Album Software Upgrade

Post by Ishtaria »

Hi Folks,

I have just upgraded the NEW Doll Album software from version 13.x to 1.4 (stable).

This version of Coppermine has been in beta for a while now and has just been formally released from beta test.

If anyone who has already been using the coppermine Doll Album encounters anything unusual, unexpected or buggy, then please report it her and I will look into it.

DO NOT report general bugs or requests for help in this thread. Please use the Help Forum for that, as this discussion is focused on the latest upgrade (which was performed today, Dec. 10th).

Thanks,
Ish

I attempted to edit the text of one of my photos and when I clicked Apply modifications I had a message 'Error: You don't have permission to access this page'.

Is this the URL?:

Ishtaria - I used Test album to edit both Title and Description of photo and it worked fine. Maybe User Edits are restricted to Admin only? In any case, it's not a software nor album/user-wide problem. Functions work for admin in Test album.

I don't have own album to test as user without admin access (yes, I can see everything as user, but user cannot Edit other folks albums).

Yes. I just uploaded a new photo to Virginia's album (the untitled one of her naked on the table in my studio). But it won't allow me to add a title.

I just uploaded a test image into the test account here:
http://www.dollalbum.com/dollgallery/di ... p?pos=-355
(it;s just a normal account).

It saved the title when I added it to tghe album.

Are you trying to save the title in a different edit window? If so, could you describe a bit where you are trying to do it?

Thanks,
Ish

OK, I found it.

The new upgrade has several additional settings which they default to "NO." One of them restricts users from modifying their image information.

I changed the setting and ity is letting me edit the photo info as a test user now.

Let me know if you are still having the problem.

Thanks,
Ish

As a side note, this latest version of our software permits image uploading using the XP Web Publishing Wizard Client (you need to be running a PC and Microsoft XP as the operating system to do this).

Hi Folks,

I just wanted you to know that I'll be away for a day or so.

So please don't take it personally if I am unable to answer anyone's questions until ten.

Thanks,
Ish

Just after posting this, I saw [this post] in the Help forum. My problem looks very similar. I guess it will wait until next weekend. I have left the details below in case they help at all:
_________________________________________________

When I log in and it says "Welcome everhard", when I click 'Continue', I get this:

Code: Select all

Template error
Failed to find block 'register'(#()(.*?)()#s) in :

         |
        {HOME_LNK} |

        {MY_GAL_LNK} |

        {MEMBERLIST_LNK} |

        {UPL_PIC_LNK} |

        {FAQ_LNK} |

        {LOGOUT_LNK}
  |
Now I get it as soon as I click the 'Login' option on the Menu.

(And I have a photo to upload of my three dolls together on the bed that I know will be popular... )
