So how soft or hard is it? Like compared to TPE? Is it far from TPE softness, or close? Is there hard foam underneath?

I don't regret it, personally. For me, the doll weighing 3-4kg less matters more than a softer butt, but I definitely understand why people choose the soft option.

I also did not choose the soft butt option on the 158d mentioned above.

Well, the Tayu silicone is so damn soft that it's very TPE like, so it's extremely close. It's just that there is the bare minimum silicone down there to create an ass with some reasonable padding, so it's not going to wobble or jiggle when you spank it, but it also isn't like hitting something hard either. You could definitely rest your head on her ass and take a nap quite comfortably. When I grab her butt cheeks, I only feel silicone, I don't feel any foam structures or anything like that. There is enough silicone there to grab a small handful and slightly pull it away from the hips. I bet the soft butt option feels awesome on this model though, I just kind of like how easy she is to maneuver and all the crazy positions that are possible with such a lightweight companion.
