If you're worried about the silicone being too firm, why not just buy the starpery tpe version? quite a bit cheaper too.

*A lot of buyers seem to prefer silicone vs tpe once they get them too, must be something to it...

i own 8 silicon dolls now, hard dolls is not a silicon issue, its a manufacture issue

I see, you want silicone but, in a softer version than starpery currently has. I have no experience with silicone, would you mind telling me why in general you like silicone better than tpe?

it's funny too that some of the brands known for silicone are more heavily advertising their tpe options now. I wonder why they aren't offering softer silicone yet...

Love this model can't wait till someone releases a 50 in hip full silicone body. Surprised Irontech
hasn't done this yet. They have the 156cm TPE version. Which I own and LOVE. You would think it
would be easy since they already have the mold

Because the visual quality between the silicone and tpe version , as well as with their 161 h ,has a world of difference between them , making the tpe version looks quite bad due the lack of details / ending when compared with their silicone version. It does not even look the same doll. Exactly as it happens with silicone/tpe heads

Cant speak for other users, but as a silicone doll owner , i very much prefer tpe over silicone

With the pictures of the 161, I don't think the tpe looks bad but, yes the silicone version looks better. Does the silicone stay that way? I know with some silicone manufacturers that the "paint" creating the realism can become worn off or uneven. Does this happen with starpery? I would probably prefer tpe always looking the same vs. blotchy/uneven silicone shading.

Well, if that’s the body you like go for it.
I don’t have first hand experience with silicon but from what I am reading from everyone’s experiences and since we both like our girls to be thick tpe to me make simply more sense.
Silicon is for those who like them fit, not thick, and many do like them fit, so for them silicon makes total sense, although I’ve also read silicon can be sticky no matter how much you powder. As for me I’ll stick with tpe at least for the time being until tech changes.
