Hi Zac, congrats on having such a peach of a doll! Olivia looks stunning in every single photo!

I would love my first doll to be a Model 11 Laura. Can I please ask if you went with any of these extra options?

Loose body joints
Soft buttocks
From your photos I'm guessing that you went with the standing feet with bolts?

Have you had any issues with joints becoming loose since Olivia's been with you? I've seen comments about older models (7 and 10) about joints going loose fairly early after arrival.
Lastly, did you go with the 172cm or 162cm model, and has the weight been OK to move around?

Hi tobykan,

Welcome to the TDF!
I went with "Standard joints" (tight) as I believe loose joints will be or get floppy over time. This would possibly make her harder to move around.
I didn't go the soft butt option, just in case, for whatever reason, I needed to leave her on her back, it may leave flat spots with the gel.
Yes, she has standing bolts.
So far the joints are still pretty tight, so all good there.
Olivia is 162cm version.
I'm still getting used to moving her around and taking care not to mismanage her weight in a way that could damage her.
As I mentioned in the review, early on I made sure to make good use of the manual handling techniques to make it safer for me when moving her around!

Could you tell me what shoe size you use for model 11? I just ordered a model 11/laura and need to start ordering clothes. From other threads, I hear a size 5 will work, but just want to confirm from another owner.

The problem with some shoes is they can vary in size. Probably best to always double check, and wait until you have the doll there to measure. I think it was size 5, and 20cm.There are plenty of measurements available on this forum if you read, but always double check.
