I think there is room for both types of photos. Clinical, technical style photos of the body are fine for working out LHP and getting details on the doll. But more "artistic" shots create a better feel for what the doll could *be*. There are a couple companies that have what I consider "technical" pics of each body on the site and then each doll (when the face is combined with the body) has her own artistic shots. I think that's a really good approach.

Personally I like promotional photos to create an atmosphere (like photos in fashion magazines) and I find this series very successful (and Crazy Horse features pretty but 'natural' girls like this very nice body 157 cm, unlike other cabarets like the Lido which employ more spectacular girls with a typical Barbie physique > The photographer therefore chose the right cabaret for this model).

But some manufacturers and/or sellers systematically add more neutral, more clinical photos at the end of the ad, with neutral poses and lighting. It is not these photos that make you want to buy the doll, but once the desire has been aroused by the more creative photos they allow you to usefully check certain points before a purchasing decision. It's complementary.

I don't mind glamour shots for dolls. They can be fun. And if I were just looking at these photos as porn, I would have no problem with only seeing glamour shots. But in the end, I am trying to make a decision about what doll to buy, so I need to see factual details. If all I can see are glamour shots, that's by definition useless for buying decisions.

Bottom line: OK, show us the glamour shots. But then show us details too.
