Just then the unmistakable sound of a summer thundershower came rolling in, and Amber's pool trip vanished into the Valley of Busted Dreams.

Amber actually managed a night out in heels, though toward the end it was pretty obvious it was courage and grit, rather than comfort, that were keeping her on her feet. And no sooner did I get her home but she changed into ballet flats before taking off her makeup and changing into her nightgown. The poor girl was exhausted and fell asleep practically as soon as her head hit the pillow.

So I didn't even bother waking her when I got up. I took the dog for his walk and then sat down to work. But around midmorning I got curious to see how my favorite Factory Girl was doing and checked on her.

I wondered if Amber would notice I didn't exactly respond in kind to the "I love you" outburst she'd just laid on me. It's a little creepy to say "I love you" to a Factory Girl, though certainly sentiments like that aren't uncommon. But I wouldn't want to hurt her feelings.

Especially since we hadn't seen hide nor hair of Katie, an indication that her date the night before had resulted in a sleepover. That was a big step I would imagine Amber might be a bit freaked out about. But she hadn't shown it.

A little later I could hear her puttering around in the bedroom, and, distracted, I decided to take another break and see what Amber was doing.

"Do you think I have bags under my eyes?" she asked when I entered.

That brown hair looks good on you, Amber.

I also really like your outfit. And the way your blouse slides slightly over your shoulder to reveal just a bit of your bra strap. I've always found that pretty and sexy.

I just went thru Ambers entire thread up to this point..... WOW!!! what a babe! You have really brought her to life and the creativity is on another level. My fav is the outfits she has and her posing. Both top notch! Is he head based on a RG somehwere?

She's a Zelex G45 "Carmen" head. I just had them do light freckles on her, and I gave them a pic of Penelope Cruz to work from.

A lot of the variety in her looks comes from FaceApp, which is a godsend if you're going to photograph a doll, and she's got a pretty extensive wardrobe that came together from a number of sources (most notably her predecessor, a JY 170 which didn't last all that long, and a few items a previous girlfriend left here when she was invited to move out).
