yes. you just have to watch out for the fingers, hands, and arm joints. (head/face too probably.)
something protective on the hands to avoid finger pokes/crushing.
proper placement at all times of the joints. you don't want to accidentally be bending or crushing something the wrong way.
spoon away.
/g'day.

Yes you can, as others have said, positioning is paramount. With my WM125 I used to put her with her legs slightly bent forwards, the 'upper' leg more so and pushed across to act as a support. I would curl her fingers gently over 180' so that her hands were basically closed and that meant any movement on them was pressing a curved wire instead of on to the pointy end of it. I also used oversized tops to cover her hands with the sleeves.
With my DS I do very similar, except I position her upper hand on to her thigh so that its not 'sticking out' anywhere and her lower hand out in front away from her. She's a stiff jointed doll, so once in this position she doesnt move at all.
This sort of thing
During the day, place them back in the 'reset' position to avoid any compression damage from remaining in the same position too long.
Oh, Sating PJ's and a Memory Foam mattress helps too with Satin PJ's you are basically allowing the covers to slide over them without snagging, and they feel awesome when you run your hands over them. you can also pull them in the last inch a lot easier
