Anyone else have order delays with Boy Toys?

Hey guys,
How long did it take for you to get your doll and was it delayed? I want to get a sense of what's normal, because it's already three weeks past the original estimated ship date that Boy Toys provided, and all they keep telling me is that it's right around the corner. Last two updates was by mid-December, then by this week. I admire the artistry that goes into the dolls, so want to be patient, so is it normal to be this late? Help!

Sometimes, delays can happen, especially during the holidays, as they're dependent on shipping companies and what not.

They've also been very busy because of the Thanksgiving special.
If they say they'll be shipping soon, I can assure you that they will be.

Thanks, that does make me feel a little bit better. It's a lot of money to pay upfront and I ordered in September, so it's been a long wait. They still have not given me a firm ship date, so must be still working on my doll.

Hiya, and welcome! I hope you post pix when she arrives!

Didja get any extras, like gel implants or freckles, or order her during a sale? That can add some time..

Around the time BurntHostage ordered me (end of 1/2014), BT was running another special. I took about 3-4 weeks longer than the advertised 8 weeks, and arrived end of April.

But I am most definey worth it!

You'll feel the same way when your sweetie arrives!

If there's any company who is guaranteed to deliver, it's Abyss/Phoenix Studios, that's for sure, but it has happened that it took a few weeks longer to deliver the doll.

Especially if the doll is popular at the time, as they have a limited amount of molds for the dolls.

It sucks to wait longer than planned, I know, but once you get that call/email "your doll is ready to ship", then all will be forgotten

Thank you Sheeana, yes I promise to post pics!

I got a Dark Skye (have not decided on a name yet), so has piercings included, but no other customizations. I did ask for different piercings. I did expect a longer lead time and my original estimated time reflected that, but that was more than three weeks ago. The second estimate was for two weeks ago, and once that slipped I knew it would get worse with xmas. Now I am worried that Matt will just shut down until after New Year's, which could push it back another half a month.

What an absolutely beautiful choice in a doll you have made. You will not be disappointed. Just be patient.. Believe me if anyone knows about patience or lack of it it's me.. Look at it bright side.. McMatt and his crew will not send out something that is not awesome.. They are also very busy. A little longer wait will make a happier you in the long run. There is a price for perfection. She is going to be gorgeous. That's what you want right??
