Dolls @ Dollstudio: Lovely Doll

Today I would like to continue the introduction of Dollstudio's assortment with a manufacturer that is probably only known by insiders: Lovely Doll, also known as Artdoll or AT Doll. This Chinese manufacturer is located in Dalian in the south of Liaoning Province and creates some of the finest doll miniatures around.

Lovely Doll makes silicone dolls im 1/3 scale (ca. 60 cm), 1/4 scale (ca. 45 cm), and 1/6 scale (ca. 30 cm). They call their miniatures Seamless Figure Dolls (SFD).

Their Seamless Figure Dolls are available in two product lines:

1. SFD Anime - Dolls with a head (four different head sculpts to choose from: Heart, Kate, Mini und Yours):

Lovely 062 doubleplus Body with ›Kate-Kopf‹ (62 cm)
Lovely 062 doubleplus Body with ›Mini-Kopf‹ (62 cm)
Lovely 060 plus Body with ›Yours-Kopf‹ (60 cm)
Lovely 060 plus Body with ›Heart-Kopf‹ (60 cm)

2. SFD Body - Dolls without a head (3rd party head sculpts can be connected):

SFD Body 60 cm - Miniatures in 1/3 scale (five different models)
SFD Body 30 cm - Miniatures in 1/6 scale (four different models)

Lovely Doll's SFDs are not sex dolls; rather they could be compared with the miniatures by Phicen and - especially - Edation (also made of silicone). The 1/6 scale dolls are suitable for some cuddling, but most of all, they are toys for adults and Otakus.

The bodies are very sexy and invide to photographic sessions; they have poseable skeletons and the 1/3 scale dolls can be equipped with movable fingers (optionally). Another nice option is the body makeup which makes them even more sexy. Neither Phicen nor Edation offer this option.

The four SFD Anime dolls are the perfect match if you like Anime/Manga style faces with huge eyes and rather small noses and mouths. These for dolls are complete: They come with a body, a head, and a wig (clothing is optional).

The SFD Body 1/6 scale and SFD Body 1/3 scale product lines are suitable for everyone who wants to attach his favourite heads onto sexy silicone bodies. The neck joint allows to connect OB/CG/HT heads and the available skin tones match DD/SD colors. For the 1/6 scale dolls, we have a selection of Kumik head sculpts, and some less expensive OSK head sculpts to choose from. However, exchanging 3rd party heads in 1/6 and 1/3 scale is not guaranteed to be "plug & play".

Lovely Doll used to charge for trimming the parting lines; this service is now included without additional fees by default.
These dolls sell between less than 200.00 Euro (1/6 scale dolls, without head) and around 600.00 Euro (SFD Anime, including head); all prices include customs, VAT, and shipping to any German location. Also, we can deliver to almost any location in the Euro zone plus UK, Norway, and Switzerland (additional shipping charges might apply; please ask for a quote).

Please note: The product lines by Lovely Doll have nothing to do with the WM Dolls' "Loveley" head; they can not be exchanged. Also, the WM Dolls 65 cm body is made of a different material (TPE) and only comes in one skin tone ("natural").

They look great, I guess I´m going to add one of the scale 1/6 dolls to my Phicen´s sooner or later.

They're probably hiding in another thread…

You might want to look for Poey (80 cm) or Kelu, Floppy Flo, Silly Sally, and Bliss (83 cm).

How long does it take to get one of the 1/6 lovely doll ?
Just wondering if the manufacturer has it in stock or they also need to be built "on order"
like their bigger sisters...

Yes, they are manufactured (made to order), not produced in a factory like Phicen. This is why they can have different skin tones, and optional body makeup.

The average lead time is 2-4 weeks; shipping to Germany is about a week; delivery to the customer depends on your location; please PM me you area code for a quote.

Please also note that the 1/6 scale Lovely dolls require a separate head (e.g. from a 1/6 scale BJD, Kumik, OSK…).

Yes, Kumik makes incredible head sculpts. We have a (small) selection of Kumik heads we like:

A budget alternative are our OSK head sculpts. They are very detailed as well, but cost a few bucks less.

We are getting those heads from a different vendor, so you are free to order body and head sculpt separately. Also, the nice thing of these mix & match possibilities is that you already might have a head sculpt, e.g. from a BJD, and just want a sexy body for the beautiful face. Very similar to the Edation "Hot Stuff" body, but quite different to the Phicen packages.
