Do I understand this correctly: You have websites in English, French, German, and soon in Spanish and you have personnel that talks these languages? That's amazing!MySiliconeLoveDoll wrote:My Silicone Love Doll offers website and support in English […], French […], German […] (Soon Spanish), if you have any question you can contact us here […] or using this section.
But you do not have European bank accounts, so there will be banking fees (depending on the bank 5-10% for a wire transfer). If a European buys from a European shop with a European bank account, there are no banking fees. Are you planning to open a European banking account?
Also, your website states: "Alle unsere Preise beinhalten die Lieferkosten. Es werden keine zusätzlichen Kosten berechnet. Der angezeigte Preis ist der Preis, den Sie bezahlen." ("All our prices include delivery costs. There are no extra additional cost. The price displayed is the price you pay.", http://www.silikonsexpuppe.com/lieferung/). This can not be true if you are shipping from Hong Kong or drop ship from mainland China. There will be extra additional costs for customs and taxes. Items from China might be charged with customs up to 48%, depending on the declared item; VAT is between 15% and 27% in Europe, depending on the country. On average, the customer will have to pay additional 30% for customs and taxes plus 5-10% for banking fees if buying from you. Or am I wrong?
Also you claim neutral packaging and promise anonymous shipping. If a package from Hong Kong arrives in an European country, the buyer might have to go to the customs office and open the package, showing the customs officers the shipped item. In this case there would be no door to door delivery. There are service providers taking care of customs clearing, but they charge additional fees.
How exactly are you planning to handle customs clearing, and how will your items be declared for customs to avoid penalties? (most shipmens I received from China/HK had a pro forma invoice with a lower value; if the shipment is insured, the insurance doesn't cover the full price in this case; also, if the customs officer do not believe the declared value, the customer might have to pay a penalty). E.g. do I need an EORI number when ordering from you?
In a nutshell: I am sure that all these things can be taken care of somehow; however I'd like to know what your services include and what the buyer would have to care about himself.
Thanks!
