Didn't know about Mannequins

When I heard the word mannequin it always made me think of the plaster women in department stores that were usually missing fingers and had scuffed paint and crooked wigs and cheap clothing that no one but a naked person in a snow storm would wear.

That is.....until I came here. Another member (not sure if I'm allowed to name them) told me of the mannequin section and WOW...

All the possibilities just jump out at me immediately. My brain is already cooking with ideas. Sooo...I'm planning on doing some searching and trying to find one.

Also, with them have such...chiseled...physiques, I think that I can have some fun.

Mannequins have come a long way over the years even for shipping and customs some doll makers will classify their dolls as Mannequins...

They have come a long way, I remember going to places like Sears and JC Penney with parents and I remember being mesmerized by the mannequins. I had to be scolded not to touch them. And I always wondered why they let them get so damaged. I always wanted to fix them and dress them up.

As a kid my mother was always amazed at the fact that I would take other children's cast off dolls and give them a good home.

Maybe I can give a mannequin a good home.

I remember walking around the mall and putting cigs in the mannequins fingers. For some reason I thought was funny.

A few years ago I called a couple spray paint manufactures, And said you guys need to make some mannequin color paint. There are millions that need to be repainted. And I still don't see any paint for them yet.

I love that there are no consequences when it comes to mannequins. At least not with the mannequin themselves.

Hard to explain, like with my current girlfriend there are consequences for dating her. But with mannequins there are not. You can simply enjoy them without repercussions. Make sense? Actually, maybe there are consequences now that I think about it more...maybe sacrifice. I'm beginning to over analyze this. lol
