A box arrived from Abyss !! It's KAORI !

After just three weeks, she (well, her face, anyway) is here

I took these to show how the face was shipped. It went through the UPS ordeal unscathed, I'm happy to report.

She has Hazel eyes, natural eye shadow, light & black eyeliner and, plum lip color.

Matt had said that the packing would be improved and that is true. My faces did not have the foam, which should prevent the problems caused by violent ups-induced lateral forces. At least if the jolt is top to bottom or vice versa rather than side to side.

Not only was there foam, the artificial "head" that the face was attatched to, was glued to the bottom of the box.

Yes, mine had the glue, which held in two of the three cases, but Sydney's mount broke loose from the glue. The foam would have absorbed the shear force, as long as the jolt came from the top or bottom.

Congratz, midnight, to your doll's new face. Those hazel eyes and her pretty mouth are very nice. I'll be glad if my Kaori will look as beautiful as yours.
