There are a lot of stickies. Which can be useful, but I think they need to be checked if they're still useful, because in some forums there are just too many stickies. The Dolls in general (japanese) has quite a lot for instance. And this one hasn't been updated in ages. (Although it does lead to a doll wiki in the first post, but there could be a useful links topic maybe?)
Some examples from other subfora:
http://dollforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=25651 . The link in te first post is to a now dead website, so that's pretty useless.
http://dollforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=22066 . Firstly I would classify it as spam if it's a sticky (why does that particular brush deserve a sticky? There must be more good brushes), and it leads to a dead page anyway.

The two examples you posted are indeed no longer necessary as a Sticky.
Why the brush thread was stickied, I don't know.
But I've removed the glue from both threads.
Sadly, we don't come around to checking all the posts and threads, including the sticky ones. But if you see Sticky posts that are no longer valid, just let us know.
