I was trying to sell my home a while back. Put a lock on my closet and had all my toys in there.
Then a tornado pulled the roof off my shed and fence damage. Took it off the market and have been doing repairs. I don't know if I'll ever finish, besides, the market is screwed.
So, I got tired of everything packed up.
Came out to my son, completely. Before, I just said, "your dad likes anatomically correct fullsize female action figures" and didn't get into details.
Now he knows and seems to be okay with it.

It was fun getting out all of my comments like, "your mom is okay with stuffing enough silicone in herself to make an entire doll...I'm just avoiding the a$$hole covering of the doll".

I had appointments with two companies to come over and quote me new windows and doors. While I have had outside people like that in my house and see Arachne I figured with two in one day it'd be easier to put her in a room without windows. So in the morning I put a hood on her to help her stay warm and sat her in her wheel chair in the basement and put her in a storage room; the same storage room that the True North Clan lives in. I let my imagination go wild on what might have happened in there during the day! I didn't bother going crazy and erasing dolls from the house; some minis were fully visible and even Arachne's "Date Your Mate" winning entry in a 30x40" canvas print was on full display. Hell, she's got a shrine to Lolth in the bedroom right beside the window! I had some comments about stuff in my house (there's a lot of interesting things!) but none about anything doll related.

So yeah, I don't feel the need to hide Arachne, but with twice the people in a single day I figured I'd reduce my stress a little. I regret not taking a picture of her in her chair, but this is the dress she is currently wearing.

I have a thing for cute girls in tight sweaters.... Jeez, she's a cutie.
Nice dress, any color staining? I've found that black or reds in cotton fabrics are notorious. Spandex materials don't have these problems.
Yes, I would say it's safer not to let people know about dolls. (I have a hysterical story on that...I'll post at the bottom)

I thought about getting yarn and just braiding but then found pre-made braids at Dollar Tree (not sure where you are, but its a great cheap place for stuff you never knew you needed).

Custom eyes... Again, Dollar Tree has eyelashes, makeup and colorful nails. Bought furry fake moustaches for kids cosplay on Amazon. A bunch for 4 dollars. Cut them up with scissors for eyebrows. They have an adhesive, so far so good on tpe. Adjustable and removeable make them great eyebrows (for my tastes)
I can get some expressive looks by moving them and gently expanding the eye socket or pushing the eye in and or slightly up for that come hither look.




Gather round kids, Its story time with Uncle MX...
Long long ago, I was a wayward lad. The worst. If girls were the drug, heroine, then I was a junky that would make Keith Richards blush. So my Dad sent me off to a military reform school. You know, the ones where kids died from beatings. Yes, it was that bad. I quickly figured out that my sense of humor could keep my alive by making the bullies laugh so they would forget about kicking my a$$. (I digress) So there was a guy that bought a thing called a Pocket P#ssy. Only blow up dolls existed then and they were not attractive. So, He wasn't shy about letting people know about it. One day, his very conservative and normal roommate destroyed a wooden locker to get to it. With no tools, his bare hands, he smashed it open to get a chance to use it. This was a guy that I would have never thought would use something like this. Shortly after word got out, a really scary group of guys stole it from that guy. They all used it...in a circle...yes, you heard right kids. It ended up becoming a rental and at graduation, the guy that pimped it out was voted most likely to exceed at business.
So... what's the moral of this strange story?
Men...most men... will go to unusual lengths to get a chance for a tug on their own usual length... Trust no one. I've worked with a lot of contractors and workers. They tell others on things they've seen. Wives, daughters, expensive belongings and even marital aids. I've watched their eyes light up. As if they were thinking...

I graduated in the top ten percent. Was to go off to the military. Strangely, I foresaw my own sad death due to a careless accident. My family has an unusual history of some paranormal events. (a story for another time). So... My Dad let me study at art school instead. Drawing and painting naked girls brought my addiction back, controlled a little more, but after some other crazy times, eventually leading me to the latest five years of my life with dolls. I view dolls like my methadone. A safer replacement addiction. The happiest. Really. I can never go back to humans.

One last thing. I thought about posting the health benefits of owning a doll, but this seems to be a good thread that has people that would listen.
The males in my family have a big history of prostate cancer. I developed a theory years ago based on the phrase, Use it or lose it.
In my marriage, I had less sex than ever. Problems started. I spoke to 2 different Doctors and brought up on my theory. They agreed as I explained that traffic was backing up for my race car. The once well-traveled speedway was now a parking lot. Pollution from the lot wasn't going anywhere.
Both Doctors smiled at my comparison. They agreed. If you don't take care of business and take some laps around the track, it backs up and fouls the motor.

One day, it may happen, but right now, I no longer need any blue tablets for help. I no longer have that pain of feeling like I'm straddling a fence post.
I read so many negative comments on dolls on other sites. Almost like they are programmed to say "uhhh, it taint natural...get you a real girl instead of them real dolls". Fine, remember that when you jerk off looking at silicone augmented porn stars, watch CGI in the latest movie and eat food that is made from artificial content.

Lemme start off by saying, yes MX-V… I connect with your assessment of dolls being the solution I’ve always been searching for. Tho our life journeys have been very different… by virtue of your brief synopsis above… I too have found dolls fulfill me in ways that I never could’ve imagined, and no “real” relationship ever has.

Ok… onto the dolls! I’ve finally got a new “wildling” underway…

I’ve had this unpainted resin head languishing for too long. Painting will happen soonish!

Phicen TBLeague has recently released 2 new skin tones in all their body types. I’m gonna call them black-skinned and bronze-skinned. I always intended to paint this head to go with a special black body from a TBLeague Egyptian cat goddess “Bastet” set, but the head is just too small for that robust body sculpt.

Now that there are dark skinned bodies available, I’ve just ordered a black-skinned S40D body for my new Forest friend. This body will be the same sculpting as the one I have the head on in the pic above. Of course, I can’t start painting until the new body arrives… but hopefully, I’ll get her finished up without too many delays!

Yeah, that sweater was a good buy! Willendorph posted one of this ladies in one and was kind enough to share the source with me. How could I not get one? The strap around her underbust was marketed as a thigh strap so I bought two. It looks like I ended up with a couple belts instead!

Nope! Arachne is as tough as they come! She wore the dress for a week and there hasn't been any staining. Arachne, likely due to both her dark and silicone skin, has never had a stain and her wardrobe is very heavy on the blacks. The drow are tough!

I get what you're saying. Of course there are people in society who will do all sorts of terrible things. Could a contractor tell his buddy about the beauty that lives in my house and that buddy comes over and rapes Arachne? Yes, it's possible, but the odds are so insignificantly low that I'm not concerned about it. When strangers are in my house, if I do leave them alone, they've never been in a situation where they could even touch Arachne without me knowing.

I've gushed over SF's new project enough that I don't need to do it here too!

That dungeon picture is really good! With a little cropping you could get rid of what gave it away to me. And those shoes! I honestly don't know if Arachne's ankles would move far enough to fit in those!
