I'm noticing that all the manufacturers I've researched so far essentially seem very lazy when it comes to giving detailed information about how the dolls look and feel. I'm wondering how you guys make decisions about dolls sometimes costing $4000 and more with so little information. Is there a source of information I'm missing?

I wouldn't assume everyone spending that much is making a good decision. You're right about there being little accurate information sometimes.

Yes, good point! I can see already that these dolls are very enticing and the manufacturers do a good job giving us photos that really look great. But I'm also noticing that the photos are almost always just not very complete, and there is almost never any video material to look at. If I were selling dolls, I'd make sure to give simple, full naked photos from all angles so buyers would know how each part looks. I'd also create short 30-second videos showing how each part of the doll feels.

Come on, this is 2024. This stuff should not be difficult.

I can sort of understand how dolls in the $1,000 - $1,500 range might not have a lot of detail. There's lots of dolls in that range. But when you get up in the $4,000, $5,000, or even $6,000 range there has to be a way to show why your dolls are worth that much more.
