My doll's hand has disconnected from it's wrist joint! What can I do?
Does anyone have any pictures of a WM Doll skeleton so I can actually visualize how the joint and socket operates, rather than just trying to guess by feel?
I guess I'm hoping there's a threaded screw in there that I just need to position correctly without having to do surgery. But even then, a picture of the joint would be really useful for planning and making sure I cut at the right spot.

Surgery on TPE is pretty straight forward and does not require major slicing, it's extremely stretchy
There are more repair guru's on this site than you can poke stick at
Some small repairs can be done with just a smear of 3M 94 Primer on a toothpick

Thanks so much! Google failed me yet again, that's exactly what I needed.just a guy wrote: ↑Fri Feb 23, 2024 2:56 pm Here's topic that has all kind of skeletons perhaps you find yours there as well. Otherwise use search to search specific model.

Re: My doll's hand has disconnected from it's wrist joint! What can I do?
Inside there's a ball joint. The connector on the arm side is just a ribbed cylinder, and on the hand side it's a smooth hole. The metal shavings are clearly from that hole being scraped.
There's this white U-shaped thing, adjacent to the hole on the hand side, but I can see nothing that this would connect to. I don't know if this even is supposed to connect to anything, but I've tried to take some pictures of it.
So I think my next step (after cleaning out the particulate) if to maybe put some JB Weld SteelStik on the barrel and wedge it back into the hole? I don't know. It feels kinda like this hole is -supposed- to freely rotate so the hand can turn, but maybe that's what the ball joint should be doing instead? This just seems like such a weak connector.

Jamming it back into the tube will fix it in place
No idea about the other stuff in there except metal shavings are not part of a finished doll design

Man, it feels so much better knowing she's all fixed up.
