Head stand

Great idea for a m16 quick connect bolt head.
At the plumbing section of the hardware store get this double threaded joining pipe I used 3 inch.
A base plate with matching threads.

It's stable enough that it holds the head without tipping ,or has screwholes if you want to fasten it to a shelf.

The m16 quick connect bolt fits in nicely without being to tight or to loose.

The cost is around 4$ usd

What diameter pipe did you use?

The package says 1/2 but it measures 5/8 imperial, not metric.
The quick connect part of the bolt slides in nice.

I prefer to make a camera tripod adapter so it doesn't need to be fixed to something and you can easly set it at any high you want.

This is my version of a head stand. Can be connected directly to the head, or attach your own snap on connector/M16 bolt to the stand, or receive the snap/bolt attached to the head, and is height adjustable if wanted.
