I'd like to second that. She's fit in very well to my suddenly burgeoning household, and with Nagisa's best friend, Rinko, arriving later this week (or early next week) the place will be buzzing...

Did you finish your other vegetables?
"Yes. But you have to stop with the cauliflower and broccoli...those are yuck."
*sigh* I'll be back, I need to figure out why the vacuum quit sucking.

Thanks Carlys Guy, she is mischievous, but in a good way- she's certainly energetic and imaginative (something I'm going to try and tap into).

Yeah, so I discovered she'll eat them when they're steamed, or pickled, or in a miso broth, but better still in kaire raisu (curry rice). Or with peanut butter






So I managed to cull the ordering frenzy to one pair of footwear, one pair of leggings, and one belt. On a cooler note, I thought we'd try a table-top roleplay game...

"YUSS. Sensei is going to teach me at playing a 'role play' game...I love it already. It's got lots of sparkly dices of weird shape...like a tett...tetla hee donn...I gets to roll lots and lots. First I have to make up a role to play."
We'll roll a bunch of six-sided dice, do some basic maths, and start developing a character...think of it as being an actor in a radio stage play...
"I can be a Magical Girl in your game, sensei?"
Yes, you can...we might have to make some stuff up for you, but yes we can. It's our game together.
"Kuru! Okays, my character will be a maho shojo...can we play together?"
It's just us, maybe Na-chan and Rinrin, so yeah, lets do that- as long as it's fun, right...

What have I unleashed? (Part I)

*shake* *shake*
"pssst, sensei..."
tblfbbff?
"PSST SENSEI!"
Eh?
"It's um just after five a.m...let's play mores!"
*mutter* y..eah...k...I'm up. I'm up...

And thus it was we few, we happy few, who began to immerse in a table top roleplaying game. Somehow I managed to convince Kiku-chan to play the basic version to start, promising to add a magical girl character class once she was comfortable playing.

"This fun so much, sensei. My character is so gyaru but only little delinquent. The paper says 'rogue', neh. I can sneaky be, but not bad person..."
Totally fine, Kiku-chan. So you and your new friends go down the darkened steps into the cold-room...the inn's storeroom.
"Kay. I look around cause my elf sees in dark. What I see?"
Some junky looking boxes, barrels of ale. It's musty, cool and damp.
"Sorta like our basement, Sensei, neh."

"Can I do searchings?"
Sure, roll a perception check on the dee twenty...
"YAY I make an eighteen...so with my abilities..."
You note a hidden door in the wall to your left, and a good sized hole in the wall to your front. A waft of cold air blows on you from the hole.

"I tell the others. We wonder what's in the hole...is it treasures? Like cookies? I'm hungry."
No, something meatier. You hear chittering...a whole bunch of chittering...catching glimpses of fur and fangs...roll Initiative...
"Can we block the hole by shoving the geezer in to it?"
Eh?
"Nope, I pull out my pointy pointy and wiggle it around...that's my roll..."
Okay you waggle your sword...you see some giant sized foul rats as they start crawling through the hole...
"I shoulda woked up Court Eunuch...he fit the hole nicey I bet!"

Thank you, Nanako More coming soonish, we spent the long weekend relaxing watching the F1 grand prix (practice, qualifiers and the main race) so will get back to playing this week once Rinko arrives (Tues) hopefully. Everyone here is excited.

Hi LBL, so far she's managed to focus her energy on the game, with the 'gem' dice fascinating her, so her adventures are a bit less involved...although I overheard Kiku and the Court Eunuch talking about LARPing
