I am so impressed! She's crazy cool!

Still getting definite Robocop vibes

Have you considered giving her a visor?

a ball jointed doll with a silicone or tpe skin over her to make her look like a legit high end silicone or tpe doll would be cool. no problems with finger wires or heavy metal skeleton issues or weight.

I did print full sized mannequin with my 3d-printer. Printing was no issue. I just had slice the model in several parts. As a project it was intresting but everything else was just meh...

SamuLy, could you post some pictures?
I'd love to see what you made.
I'm wanting to get into 3D printing, but worried that it might be too expensive for me and a big learning curve.
I'd have to get a better computer also.

So spending $1500 on another doll or put it towards a possible new frustration...
Please post some pics, maybe costs of everything.

Sorry, I didn´t take any pictures, but I can maybe find pictures from those 3d sketches that I made. 3d printing isn´t the problem but if you want to make your own models or custom some other models then you are going to spend hours and hours on your computer... But it is really interesting. My doll needed about 4-5 kilos of plastic and thats like 100 €. Painting and sanding was the hardest thing to do.

Let me see if I can find those images for you :)

So, here are pictures of the life sized doll that I printed. My printer can print 20*20*20 cm object so thats why it is made of many pieces. With sanding and painting I got seamless and smooth surface to it.

Wow these are next level ideas. You could just use silicone for the outer layer instead of filling the entire body to save weight. You could also put heating element closer to the skin instead of heating the entire body!

SamuLy, do you have an estimate for how much your 3D printed life-sized doll costed you in filament? I remember reading about someone's journey printing and finishing a life-sized Iron Man suit that costed as much as some sex dolls (in the thousands).
