New 6ye Owner! Any Advice?

do you have one one of the new 6ye tpe blends? did you notice a "coating" come off?

My newest doll using their material is an HR 158 (same factory) made in late 2021. A "coating"? No. But like most dolls it arrived very well powdered and soft to the touch. Eventually this layer wears off or starts to get dirty, and that's when the cleaning/ powdering/ cleaning/ powdering cycle gets going.

It's not that this is different from other TPE dolls, but where my Irontechs can get clean with mineral oil and a few sponge strokes, 6YEs seem to take more work. Just my experience.

For the jiggle factor, it's worth the trouble.

I have an irontech too! i thought, the 6yes needed less work! thanks for the tip! she arrived and yeah, i think i will need to powder and oil...

thanks again. i was buying into the no powder hype.
