How was 'Day One'?

How did everyone's first day go and what was that like for you? I know I'm going to need to bathe her upon arrival, but is oil/powder necessary? I've also just purchased a heated blanket and memory foam mattress topper, anyone have any other recommendations to make her as comfortable as possible?

I'm so excited to meet my lady(wm150m) I've been losing sleep for about a week now. Judging by everyone else's wait times, I've still got about two weeks to go.

I'd say make sure you are ready mentally and physically for challenging manual labor - she's a big, curvy, heavy girl. Take everything slow and steady with the box, especially be careful opening the cardboard and unpacking. Once you have her out - lift with your legs! - a quick wash with some soap and water and then put her head and wig on and meet your new girl. Don't be surprised if you're tired and achy after all that and not in the mood, or if there's some uncanny valley weirdness, or it just feels weird to have a sex doll. All of that will probably go away with time, so just see what happens. Of course, you might just find yourself climbing into the box to have sex with her too, it's quite a spectrum of reactions!

My first day with Leila was quite memorable. After unpacking her and placing on her head and a wig, I was either busy taking nude photo shots of her, or examining her in absolute awe with a very tall glass of wine.

I was stunned that I finally had in my possession something that I had wanted for nearly 20 years.

My first day with Hadleigh was nearly disastrous. I unpacked the box until it was just her body in there with the hand and foot wrappings. Then I stood the box up, picked her body up by the armpits, and as I was trying to shift my grip to a bridal carry to swing her up onto her slab, she wiggled out of my grasp and her hands hit the wall. I hadn't had her for five minutes and had already lost control of her, breaking several finger wires in the process of unpacking her. I spent the next week eyeballing photos of doll skeletons and figuring out how to rotate her various joints. Along with hours on the repair and maintenance forums trying to figure out how I was gonna repair her hands. Still, I counted it all down to inexperience and carry'd on. Life with her rapidly got better. A lot better.

I recall picking her up from my shipper and then on my way home with her stopping for some sexy clothes and shoes for her. I unpacked her and dressed her right away with her new clothes and shoes and was out of my mind with excitement dressing her. I took some photos and was extremely excited as we pretty quickly had multiple, long intimate sessions together that continued on a regular basis throughout our honeymoon. That was nearly a few years ago and I feel just as excited about her when we are together.

Let's see. Well, it's been over 3 years now, but as I remember Jyoti's first day was rather uneventful. I was busy doing other things when she arrived and only had time to get her unpacked and look her over for damages. She spent that first night in the box she came in, resting comfortably atop the pink blanket WM sent with her.

The next day I gave her several washes to get most of the factory muck off and lightly dusted her with cornstarch. After she had a nice long nap, I found her something temporary to wear and took some measurements so I could get her some proper fitting clothes and undies. It was probably a month or so before I gave her an oil rub. Not all that necessary to oil a new doll right away.

I remember Day One with each of my fellas. The most difficult part was getting them out of the box, LOL. A soap and water bath (I mix 1 part antibacterial hand soap in with 5 parts lukewarm water in a spray bottle) followed by a spritz rinse with water and powdering is really all you need to do to clean her. She should not need an oiling upon arrival. TPE blends are getting better at staying oil lubricated now.
When she arrives, you will want to thoroughly inspect her and photograph, video, take notes of anything that seems off. If (this happens, but I hope it does not happen to you, or anyone else) she arrives with any damage, you will need to put her right back into her box and close the box, this is before bathing her. Then you will need to contact your vendor immediately and send them evidence of the damage so they can either do the following:
Replace
Refund
Assist with Repair Advice

If all is good, and nothing is damaged OR missing, bathe her, dry her, clothe her and have fun. But most likely, after all that, you are going to be a bit sore and tired, so the "fun" stuff may have to wait for another day.

To be completely honest...disappointed(my first doll anyway)

Perhaps underwhelmed is a better word

I can remember opening the box and immediately thinking I'd made a mistake.
She seemed tiny,a weird pinkish colour and was a lot heavier than I expected.
Sex was a disaster too...

Flash forward a few months everything clicked into place,
2 years on I've owned half a dozen dolls(got a new girl coming tomorrow).

I absolutely love the doll life now

My advice to new owners is if it doesn't click straight away,give it time

I'd say you can go without oil. But you will probably want to powder her after her bath. It will make her skin feel softer. Just make sure she is completely dry before you powder her.

It is brutal. I hopes she arrives with no problems.

My very first night was awesome and a bit of a let down. It was awesome because my doll had finally arrived and she looked even better than I imagined. The let down, was that our first time having sex was nothing like I hoped. She sunk to far down in the bed and I couldn't easily get inside her. She also weighed almost 100lbs (45kg) and was a pain to move. It was all so awkward. There is a learning curve on figuring out how to position the doll. Once you figure out what works, you will have much better sex. Much better! I have had some mind blowers. So don't be discouraged if your first time together doesn't live up to expectations. Give it some time.

You might have an easier time than I did. My first doll was 15 years ago, and I no longer have her (she did last for 13 years). The dolls made now are a little easier to move. And a lighter doll made a huge difference.

day one, not the greatest. just cleaned her, went to the store to get some baby powder and they were sold out. went back home and tried having sex with her anyway. first time was just learning the right height and angles. didn't really cum the first few times. now the sex is amazing!!!

Just got my first doll Monday. Was a suprise since tracking didn't update. Glad nobody was home. Unboxed her, head on, wig on and laid her on the bed. I got the removable insert(that was weird the first couple times) then preceeded with why I bought her. It was weird, like I'm I really doing this with a doll, did I make a mistake and waste a bunch of money. Well I got over that quick within the first couple days. Now it's becoming more fun each time and I'm feeling alot better mentally and physically. Nice side affect, barely have watched porn since she has arrived.
