Vegwells dolls

Post by mytime »

Hi All,

Old members may still remember Vegwell.
I bumped on his site and yes he still builds dolls.
http://www.geocities.com/vegewell/

This old man has as far I know nearly no money but he succeeds in:

1) Building dolls with faces that can do multiple impressions
2) Inside the doll is a skeleton very close to human skeleton.
3) This dolls can do very weird positions (you can fold them double).

Sorry, this GeoCities site is currently unavailable.

The GeoCities web site you were trying to view has temporarily exceeded its data transfer limit. Please try again later.
I guess i have to take a look some other day. If people with highly intresting sites would start putting pictures somewhere else to save free bandwidth quota

I managed to get online and I left him a message to look at http://www.110mb.com which should not have that problem.

I got on there just fine. Probably timing. Geocities has some serious bandwidth timeouts.

I haven't seen his work for a few years. It's improved considerably! Great to see that he's continued. Obviously a labor of love.

Amazing what a skilled craftsman can do with cloth and paint (and, presumably, a wooden skeleton). He knows how to capture female beauty.

I like the expression in the faces, but sadly most also lack symmetry, which gives some dolls a scary look...
